The few times I've played on red side, as I really don't like the concept of being the bad guy, I never have a problem forming a team. I've had toons on Virtue, and one on Freedom.

Most teams seem to be looking for players.

What I do blue side is either form a team or ask to join. I don't broadcast. Nothing good can come of that 99% of the time and I have learned that blind invites are from people who don't know how to play [but sometimes being part of the train wreck is cool. No one stays on suck teams for more than three missions anyway.]

Do the find and see the grayed out names. /t one of them and ask "Hey, is there room for a Lv23 katana/wp" or whatever. I don't send out more than two of those at once, sometimes only the one. If they don't respond, maybe they have SS as their travel power or are getting their butt kicked, maybe just getting a drink.

After about a minute, hit seach again. The list will have changed as teams will come out of missions and some will go in.

I find standing still with my team thing set to any works also.

And if you see a team on the street, stop by it and say, "Got room?" and hit an attack button so your flames/sword comes out. If there's room, even if it's 20 levels above me, I usually get invited.

I've been in Peregrin Island to get a raptor pack from FBZ and have a 10 get invited to radio missions. It's because the teams need players. Are there places in Villianland where teams need players? Go there, even if it makes no sense.

Some days when I'm marketing, I'll decide I'll accept any invite. I play on a turd team or two, but usually only have 20 min of marketing between. I craft, and that's not much time if I have fast sells.

There is some confusion between lag and the computer sucks. I've had people say CoH lags when they start approaching a WW. Huh? What are the odds?

I've never had a computer that made it so I couldn't approach WW. But I did quit years ago, before there was WW actually, because I couldn't approach a group of people with capes. My computer sucked. CoH didn't start lagging when I saw capes. It was fine.

If the server only lags when your computer needs to have a better graphics card, hey, that's such a strange coincidence.

You don't have any defense because you're a /regen.

That said, since you mention it, here's me hacking at your stuff trying to get defense, S/L, with the common KC, RectR, Reactive Armor...etc.

You spend more money than God on this and really don't have much to show for it. The MA is good, depending on what you're going for, Spider Teo has a good guide you might want to look at. You skipped the right powers. My only 50 is a MA/Inv.

I know nothing about /regen and will probably never roll one.

Here's my horrible hack, putting some S/L def, only got to 30%, but lowered the cost by a billion or so. Don't mind the empty slots scattered around.

Edited to add: Those two Rectified Reticle econo-IO in Focus Chi give the same amount of S/L as a set of Oblits. Also, honestly, trying for recharge this much, sometimes it's better to just put the common IO rather than waste 5 slots trying to get 5% global. The KC only use four slots.

I don't know where it is because I just haven't had any reason to look into it. Same reason I can't find Paraguay on a map and don't know what rat meat tastes like.

The most powerful team made of "normal" toons I've ever been on.

I loved how we casually killed Babbage, just the five of us, because it was right next to our mission.

Next week we should do Posi before it goes away. I'll bring my ghosting shoes...or...

1. Since the old Posi is going away, should I actually experience it w/o ghosting?
2. And is it really going away, if it's going to be in Ouro flashbacks, then it's not such a big deal...

Hell yeah. I always use both from my fire/ice together. Rain of Fire's not so weak when each lil orange number is a four, and you still have time to get off fireball.

Anyone able to point me to a pic of what Vengance-head looks like? I don't think I've ever seen anyone use it, but I don't know what it looks like.

What does that mean? Do we get cool stuff or just info we can read tomorrow on the forum?

If last week was Numia, does that mean it's Posi tomorrow, and then the cycle repeats?

Though it would be neat to do it with both ATs sometime. Maybe meet in Ouro or RWZ, though the latter really limits the mission selection.

I personally thing this would be easier on people if there was a distiinct place we met, like Tanker Tuesday's always meet on the wall infront of KR's IP gate.

If we included Corruptors, would we be able to team and then head out separate ways to get to other combo-zones.

Also, there is an AE in RWZ, though I like "real" content.

I was changing out IOs without changing powers, order, or number of slots but had to stop when I got to Obsidian Shield.

I took psi, but I wish I'd taken ice for the hybernate and armor. That said, the armor would ruin my outfit.

I might second build, but I sure don't want to buy a second set of IOs for her.
