    Flares actually goes best with my fire/ice blaster's concept, a normal person with supergloves. Firebreath, which I really can't drop, totally messes up my concept.

    I depend on the katana's Divine Avalanche for my L/M defense and then get the ENFC [or FCEN if you're old school] pretty high, and always get the S/L resist, cause something's getting through.

    This build has a ranged/psi hole as big as a house, and that means defense debuffs, and that means either death or woob woob woob woob your way outta there. But mostly you'll just hack at people forever, as DA is not a killer attack and you have to spam it. You don't have an attack string, you have an attack/defense string.

    OH, and katana/wp ftw.

    I know this isn't what you're looking for, but this is my ma/inv, a hybrid build of things Organica, I think Bass Ackward, and my cheapness.

    I feel you should take a secondary that does what you want it to do. Invuln is a mix of resistance, defense, and healing. Similar to WP, but it's more about the S/L resist.

    I personally think trying to cap Inv is like making banana splits with apples. It can be done, but it's not what was intended and it's not as good.

    Edit - That said, holy crap, Mauk2. Good job.

    I won't play Regen because it's a lot of clicking to take care of myself. My toon becomes high maintenance. That's not fun to me.

    WP has RttC. OOOh, I love thee RttC. I bought an engagement ring because I was going to marry it but I just scratched up the screen of my monitor trying to put it on the toolbar.

    Hightened senses? How much would that much defense to the ENFC be worth if you were slotting bonuses for it?

    I'd miss Hasten when exemping [I'll adapt it to a BS/SR, I never took Hasten on my katana. At least not on her first 50 respec, which I desperately wanted Vengeance.]

    I really have nothing to add...except if this is SR and we're at 50, since we're capped already on positions, why take DA? DA is great to spam at low levels, but the whole reason we take SR is so we are untouchable without DA.

    With SR, you can cap cheap. No need for Oblits, etc.

    Here's a /SR build that I have. She's a BS/SR and this is a levelling build, if I choose to follow it. It's cheapo cheapo and capped.

    Edited to add...I'm not really happy with the build I posted. I need to steal slots from one power to put them in another and change the order, etc.

    Another "it depends" here.

    I mostly play a fire blaster as far as range goes, so I try to keep the AoE aggro off me as much as possible. But if my amazingness starts pulling them off the tank, I change tactics.

    When I'm playing my ill/storm during Rikti raids/invations, I'll target my spec wounds, blind, and whatever that psi epic ranged power is, through Phantasm. Heck, any time it gets crazy I'll target through him. I really shouldn't have respecced out of the heal as it came in handy in those situations.

    I should try targeting through one of my imps. ha.

    I posted the pic of our team, who ran the respec TF, over in the parallel thread to this in the Freedom forum.

    We did well. Some who were new to the concept of 6x frads got excited and did a little faceplanting when they ran ahead. That's why I took Fallout. Woot.

    All three sections of the TF had vertical elements which play hell with fire/rad. Hunting skyraiders = flying with no hotfoot or choking cloud, or throwing cages and char from the ground. The KR mish had multiple layers of balconies in the final room and I made sure to accidentlaly aggro the entire earth. And of course the reactor has two levels. Stupid imps won't put on their shields.

    Good times though.

    AR/DEV. Why Not?

    AR/Dev is fine. I have one in her 40s.

    Here she is. Her focus is Hasten only down for 14 seconds, she can ghost a mission if hovering [not the brightest idea in hindsight, but there's the 2 min after deactivation too] and tp teammates over, and with the temp power stun stacked with beanbag she gets a mag 6. I regret pushing PFF back to 44 as I want it now.

    This is a respec build, that's why Hasten is back at 26.

    If you're unclear on how to slot a specific power, let us know. I know there are many, many opinions on how to slot DA. And I know one of my new quirks, which is great btw, slotting hurdle twice, isn't going to be something you're planning in your build.

    Post your build and we'll poke at it. I only know katana well, but I do know it well.

    Well, I was on the respec team.

    We started by having the big octopus beat the living dog dirt out of us, on purpose, on the way to our contact.

    I had forgotten how not-really-great the mission structure of the Terra Volta Trial was. We did get to do some good burninating in the offices in KR, but, yet again, multi-level rooms are the massive weakness of a frad.

    Back into TV for the big showdown. We forgot to bring hammocks for the reactor room. Disko was timing how long things lasted and had our AM timing so we could hit it right before an attack. Well, we missed the last one.

    We only had deaths when someone got separate or Leeroy Jenkinsed it.

    I didn't have screenshotui = 1 so we get no names. But my lame memory for names means we get partial names.

    Do you guys ever use the Team TP strategy on your teams? I was dubious at first, but it is quite efficient, though it can be a little disorienting to the riders.
    We usually burn everything in our way, never stealthing a mish. Though if we do ITF, which I'm hoping we'll do as soon as some of the lower toons get on up, I don't think we'll burninate the whole map.

    I don't know what anyone thinks would be fun, or if anyone trusts me after we all slammed into the walls at 8x AM in Citadel, but if we have enough 25+, doing some Ouro would be cool. I've rarely done any flashbacks besides the fortune teller one for the...uh...cant' remember the badge.

    That would qualify as a come-and-go. I'd have to check on what TF's that Kaylee lacks. Also, I haven't really done many Trials. I'd just like to avoid things with rooms with multiple levels. Catwalks really don't mesh with our powersets.

    Just pick the wrong powers.

    There is an article in the Player Guides...

    [holy crap, someone let some insane street person into our offices!!]

    ...about rolling a random toon. So, if you have three power choices at that level, go to random.org and have it give you a random number in that range. Regardless of how stupid it is.

    Oh, and you want a challenge. Only slot range or knockback, maybe any slow, etc, the power takes. NEVER slot damage or endred.

    Do you have an onboard ATI "card?" When you slot your enyhancements do you have to put your blue hand in a place that isn't directly on the enhancement. Mine, when I had that setup, was to put the hand to the upper left so the enhancement would be about a cm to the lower right of the wrist.

    Can you right click the map itself and place the thumbtack? Is it where the fingers were?

    As far as menu shortcuts, I'm not at home to check.

    People are saying yes, but because of the chaining you've mentioned I think the answer is no. When the leader quits the mission, the mission goes away, at least in most Radio missions.

    If you were to make a "fan" rather than a chain, where the leader stays and invites other toons, then absolutely it would work, UNLESS you finish the bank mish first. Then the mission is over.

    It has been my experience that what I've said is probably right.

    I'd like to swap out Saltier for Trixi Chalk, 50 Katana/WP. She hasn't done this. I've never heard of it, even after making myself a [wrong] checklist of TFs.
