Seems like alot of the WS powers are ports from Dark moves, attacks and shields. If I played a DA/DA Brute and liked it, will I like a WS? Also has some mixed in Dark supports also?

Hello all,
Im looking to make a Melee oriented toon (Defense primary or secondary) to grind synapse TF's, somthing that does alot of AOEs, but cant be a blaster. Naturally im thinking of rolling a resistance roon for the Dmg aura's, but not sure what for a primary/secondary depending on Tank/Brute/Scrapp. Anyone have any personal opinions of a toon they want/have that would play well in the low lvl area's? -
I've duo'd an ITF with a pimped out ILL/Rad, problem with Nictus rommy and the PC is that you can’t control your pets to attack 1 target. When the bots spawn, hard to keep your pets on the PC, and the same with nictus rommy as there is an AV that spawns a bunch of nictus, along with ambush's at certain dmg points. Again, if you take this slowly, you can do it, but when you get to Rom, i would to pull him away from all the other nictus. 1 other move that people are forgetting is the Geas of the kind ones and also the Eye of the Magus (Hero Demonic I think).
Best of luck, post up your success when you’re done.

Im torn between the 2, and im curious if anyone has any opinions on who they prefer to farm.

Sweet, this looks great, 1 thing though, why would grant cover be better then one with the shield? Grant gives 13% DDR, is that better then extra res/end/regen?
-
Yep, I can afford all of these and have been saving up for the parts from pvp and Hero Merits. I made a tweak to the build, i didnt know that Shadow meld was +Defence, so I took your advice and dropped Parry and picked up Conserve Power... heres a revamp. Please tell me what you think. im VERY close to AOE cap, but I dont see myself needing it to be honest.

Hello all,
Im trying to go for a build thats capped to Melee/Ranged, AOE is just a bonus, and with a good amount of recharge. I was hoping to fit in the Soul Mastery patron with Gloom/Shadow meld, but I cant really get the numbers to work for me. Please tear this build apart and let me know if anything needs to be changed.

This is a great look into Dark/Dark/Dark. Im lvl 42 right now and am curious if you have a build thats good for surviving, but great for exemplaring?
-
This is great information, I wold intend on creating an all around character. I have a regen currently that can do more then people assume regens can do, i've thought of a DM/DA and also a SS/Invul, I want to be able to make a big difference on a team, but also be able to solo Oro arcs and I solo/duo tf's alot. i've been saving up some cash to choose what type of toon i want to sink some cash into and have been looking at both builds for some time. I would most likley make a Brute of both, as it suits me very well. But this makes me excited about both. If anyone has a personal preference and why, i am all ears at this point.
-
Hello all,
This forums has brought me to try many different types of brutes and is always a great place for information. In your personal opinions DA Vs Invul people, what secondary would benifit more from a High end build?
Please discuss.
Thanks in advace,

Thanks for the build.
When Rage drops does it - Def from your set Def also? Or just your inherit? -
Stupid questionsm, but is building for S/L defence as good as building for Melee/Ranged/Aoe?
-
Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has a SS/Invul build built to survive? Im curious with the tank Epics avail if anyone has an updated one that they have found works really well in battle? Im currently sitting at lvl 14, but im making him to take the major alpha strikes ect. Im also saving up to have a panacea and a Glad Proc in him with my hero merits.
Any builds would be awesome, I know defence is key as first prioriy, and maybe +HP as a second?
Cheers,

Im playing a Scrapper, that is a full fleged hero, never even switched Allignments once. Been hero the whole time. The badge has been showing that way for about a week now.

I guess im looking to the Brute's that have high end builds with these primary's and seeing from "I have experience with this set"... tell me why they think it was a good idea/bad idea. With some really high end builds (that I plan on going that way) u might not need a heal or what not, but I plan on making a toon that will be able to take on any AV with a team.
-
Hello all,
I've been looking at the brute forums a long time and feel like im stuck at a crossroads between 3 primarys's for my next toon. Latley, i've been very sad with the way that brutes/tanks are doing there job, and im assuming that is major in part because or people re-subbing. So im going to make an Invul. I want somthing that will make it easy to max out Defence and maybe even HP/DP. Im stuck on 3 primary's that im interested in using..
1. Dark Melee
2. Super Strength
3. Stone Melee
I know dark has the heal+ end, i know SS has rage, and Stone has alot of mitigation, but with high end builds, what would bennifit the most?
Cheers,

Just checked under the Accolade section, and its a full bar there also, but no badge.
-
Hello,
My toons name is Grave Affliction, he is on Freedom. Im having an issue with my accolade that is supposed to be awarded to me, I have the Patroller and Monitor Duty badges. The Accolade bar is full and at the top of my "Closest to completion" tab, but it has not awarded. Im coming close with another toon for this accolade and will update this post if its an issue getting accolades or anything of the sort.
Regards

Hello everyone,
I've just recently rolled a Dark/Dark Brute, and was teaming with somone who said that Dark/Dark scrappers are better. Now I dont want this to be a Scrapper vs Brute thread, but he brought up a good point, Opressive Gloom and cloak of fear stop a Brute from getting the fury that is needed in battle. Anyone out there think this makes sense? Im thinking about re-rolling because of that, but not sure if its entirly true.
Thanks. -
With the changed to Burn is it worth putting that in the build now? Im just curious
-
I've seen all the news about Burn changes, and im curious if ignite also has those changes? Is the fear effect gone from that move also?
-
Thank you very much. I'll start saving for that Gladiators
This looks great.
Thanks -
Hello everyone,
I had a friend make a build for me a long time ago and im dusting off my brute now, but since the Blessing of the Z change, this toon is less effective. Im not a numbers person, so im wondering if people could help me get the most out of this build. I am willing to change the Patron, but looking to be sofcapped to Melee/Range, im not sure if AOE matters.
Please help me get the best, without sacrificing 2 much.

Hey everyone,
Im thinking of respecing my current build, I have 4 LOTG Procs in my build and 2 Panacea Sets, not I think I understand the rule of 5, but I need to make sure. Am I voiding one my my 7.5% recharge bonus's by having 6 of the same? Or because its a proc, and the other 2 are set bonus's does it stack?
Thanks
