Spines VS SS/FA for farming?

Im torn between the 2, and im curious if anyone has any opinions on who they prefer to farm.

SS/Fire is a clear cut winner here. Spines/fire is good, but it's really hard to beat the ss/fire brute.

This more than anything else.

The way that BA will cause things to bunch and stay bunched for brutes gives it an edge that is hard to quantify on paper but when you actually start farming in game you can see the results.
