    I completely agree with Pax. Those of us who have invested in both CoH, CoV, preorder, DVD collectors editions, GvE pack, etc. should get thrown some sort of bone. Whether that is a badge, pet, power, or a sekret fake id*.

    Hmmmm, I'm thinking this not just a player flashback but maybe a whole do-over for CoX (not City Life!!!!!). Combining factions and fixing a couple of the biggest weaknesses on both sides. CoH's horrendous contacts and zoning and CoV's lack (relative to CoH) of contacts and SF's/TF's?

    This needs to be revoked. If you want to get rid of the heavies being used for farming over long periods of time just put a badge on them. That way you give the players something instead of taking something away and get the same result win-win.

    Not as good as an idea, but put a progressive XP bonus depending on how long they've been out.

    Both say the radius is 20' when it is actually 40'.

    Purple shields fade out after 45 secs. Aura is still on and will reset shields if you leave the radius and come back.

  23. Overall I am very happy with I9. I really like the idea of set bonuses to fill holes or enhance aspects in a character .

    My biggest disappointment for I9 was not having sets for my signature powers. I understand that the sets with the broadest user base were released first. That's fine and dandy. I get that data mining needs to be done to see how sets and bonuses are changing the game. Now that the big push to get I9 is over,it has been live for awhile, most of the fires have been put out, and the Devs have had somewhat of a breather I would like to some comment on the next batch of invention sets. Mainly, debuff sets and pet sets that do more than dmg|acc|end. Most of the pets do more than just damage and need to have appropriate enhancements for these secondary effects.

    Drop rates can be tweaked a bit too. I don't want City of Wings, but I also do not want to see salvage, not recipes, going for 8-9M (for a recipe going for &lt;100k).

    I would like to see some more costume pieces like holsters, scabbards, backpacks, pinchers, and some NPC pieces like Widow collars.

    As far as craftable temp powers I think a craftable flashback power that self-mal's you down so you can talk to unfinished contacts would be hugely popular. Make it available in five level increments from 5 to 40. Have some sort of downside that once it is executed that you are stuck at that level for x amount of time (2 hours?) or until you come out of the mission.

    I think ball and chain looks the most promising. Once the technology is on place it should be a simple step to base nunchucks off of them. For all of the martial arts characters who wouldn't want a nunchuck power set. Maybe a three section staff too.

    What I really would like to see is Scorpion's chain attack from Mortal Kombat. How fun would pulling be then....Get over here!

    You know how the first respec goes... someone disconnects.. someone quits...have to restart...have to find someone willing now that it is getting late...they turn out to be on a x486 on dialup. That's why they need to do a respec! Some vines get killed on the first pass to speed things along later... Maybe Hero side is dfferent??
