Kitmarch

Kit is basically a unarmed scrapper. It's the MA set, but I see more in it than kick-kick-kick. She's rather strong and usually berserk, so when she talks about ripping off arms and beating people to death with the stumps, she means it.
However, she (usually) has enough self control not to kill the majority of targets.

Kit has armour, which repairs both her and itself (regen set). Downsides is she has to eat loads to give it the raw material to perform repairs and that she'll decompose and die if she takes it off for too long (taking it off is bad enough in itself).

Flangepower wise, Kit is unstable within the multiverse and can travel between realities. She uses this for taking short cuts across our own (Teleportation) and taking fellow heroes to and from other universes.

She also uses it to stash stuff she pick up on missions and the occasional thing that looks useful.

This means that while she can pull up some useful items, most of her inventory is explosives, weapons, debris and loads of coffee.

Background & Structure:

While teasing the hell out of Red Saint one day, Quiverfull led him to believe that she thought they should become a couple, then at the last second changed her story, claiming that she meant all along that they should form a Super Group, called The Fletched Alliance, insisting on a red and black colour scheme. While she was away in the Rogue Isles, Saint took it upon himself to actually form The Fletched Alliance, alongside an old family ally, the Vaticans head exorcist, Crucifix III. When she returned, Quiver was quite taken aback to be welcomed home by something she'd invented as a joke to tease Saint.

As a group, the Alliance is remarkably tight-knit (though often as angsty as all hell). Previously lead (as mentioned above) by the Red Saint. However, following his suicide, the mantle of leadership was passed to Akkarin, who promptly made Kathena, and Luminous Phoenix his chief advisors, and began a carefully targeted recruitment scheme.

Today the FA is one of the better known Supergroups in the area, though not always for the best reasons. The "carefuly targeted" recruitment seems to be sweeping up anyone with a liking for big bangs or a lack of self preservation. They have a reputation as a bunch of boom-happy-looneys among some quarters, and as "the lot with the explosions" in others.

Admission Notes/Requirements:

A lack of self preservation and a fondness for messy explosions are a plus. Primary requirement is a good sense of humour and a certain willingness to put up with a load of folks who are totally off their rocker, both IC and OOC.

A lack of prejudice and stereotyping are a must, as the upper ranks are populated by a vampire, a catgirl and an alien-hybrid, among others.

All new admissions are put on a two week trial period, no exceptions.

The topic comes up once every few weeks. A Sticky would be most helpful.

Kitmarch lives here, in Skyway. Although the lack of decent heating means she spends a lot of time under a heating vent in Kings Row.

Currently engaged in Callista's pen-n-paper games, which are the Heroes Unlimited and Rifts systems. SOme experience in Shadowrun and the old Warhammer RP.

And as for me personally - what is your security clearance citizen?

Just thinking a party on actual Christmas could be a slight problem as I suspect (hope?) most of us will be tied up doing the warm fuzzies with family etc.

To be honest, I've had a hard time justifying them for ANY of my characters. So far I've got one demon possessed brute who will be having them as a pure cosmetic (he can't fly). And I guess I'll slap them on my peacebringer just so I can watch them work with SOMEONE.

Oh, and those at GG had better watch out for the appearance of the unbearably smug GenericWingedHero142 who will most probably show up, annoy the hell out of people for 15 mins with his aura of self importance, then shove off, never to be seen again.

Bob showed up later, and moped when RC was no-where to be seen.

Kit is back from where-ever she wondered off to. Presumably the issues are sorted, but she doesn't seem too happy about it.

Dunno if Coile is aware that Meadow's Nictus seperated off as a seperate entity some time ago, vanished for over a week, hasn't been seen at the statue for ages and that Meadow has recently asked Kit to lend her a quantum rifle?

Anyway, Kit isn't really up to much. She's mostly been asleep all day. At the statue, at home, at other people's homes, and especially under this nice industrial heating vent in Kings Row.

Either she's gone cat, or she's trying to hibernate.

From what I understand of the police drones (from reading the in game description, which I believe has changed over time)

1)The technology is still in field test

2)The authorities are scared of civvies being caught up by them

3)They're damned expensive (no longer in description, but I think it used to be)

So therefore deployment is limited to critical choke points instead of "street sweeping".

As for how they work... we have functioning sentient androids in game, so I imagine threat assessment AI is more than reasonable for the tech level.
