Quote:This already happens with Death from Below -- many people bail as soon as they see there's only five or six people queued.
I've done DFB with only 2 or 3 other people, all of them blasters. It's not exactly hard. And TFs in general don't need full teams to finish. In fact, if low level vahz are involved, it's often best to not have a full team. -
Hrm, interesting. Still doubt a 2 billion enhancer will drop to 100 million though. Might drop under 2 billion. Depends a lot on costs.
-
Enh converters are only going to be purchaseable with paragon points, right? Not a mob drop. They might have a minor effect on prices, but it's not going to be huge.

Willpower takes less effort to use and has less alpha vulnerability than regen does, but is a bit more constrained tactically. Mainly its healing ability is heavily reduced while away from enemies, so temporarily breaking off a fight to heal up doesn't work so well.
Regen is a heavily click based defense set, so you have to pay attention to it, and is infamously vulnerable to alphas (the first strike of a mob). Moment of Glory helps with that later on, though. Regen tends to be either loved or hated. -
Quote:The puns, they hurt. The one that seems to get the most comments: My Elec/Shield scrapper is named "Ohm Depot." He is dressed in an Orange vest and Khaki pants, and specializes in home repair advice. I also have a Plant/Elec Dom named "Ohm and Garden."
Granted, I made a Thugs/poison MM I named the Loch Ness Mobster. (Got the name a while ago from someone on Guardian chat, if I remember right) -

My current favorite is Herald of Metal.
Metal Spikes-> Metal
Being on Fire-> Even more Metal
You can't kill the Metal (Rise of the Phoenix)
Took Storm Elementals as incarnate summons pet. -
Oh, so they forced sales stacks to split if it went over 2 billion? Well, that works.
Guess I'll double check on how the canceling works myself sometime, but it sounds like they didn't change much beyond making sure stacks don't go over the inf limit. -
When did you last test? I could've sworn they fixed it so you could retrieve stacks of sales that went over 2 billion somehow, so was wondering if they changed it for canceling bids as well.
-
No. The enhancements you have will scale down based on your level and the level you're exemping to though. http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Exempl...n_Enhancements

Quick question about storing influence:
Let's say you have 9 bids of 200 million influence on something in a slot, and your character has 410 million influence on them. You click to cancel the stack of 9 200 million bids. Are you completely unable to claim any of them, does it claim the entire thing and the overflow is lost, or does it just claim as much as you can hold? -
Quote:Note there no real "healers" in the game. Only two powersets, IIRC, actually have multiple healing powers. Most other support sets have one. But they can stun, reduce hit chance, and other techniques to help out the group.
3 sets, empathy, pain domination and thermal. Empathy is only for controllers/defenders, and pain dom is only for corruptors/mms though. Thermal is useable by all 4. Also, even though they heal the most out of the support sets, they have ally buffs to prevent damage taken. -

And even if you rush to the end, now you can do most of the game's missions (every story arc, I believe) through Ouroboros.
Well, except Praetoria stuff. If you do make a Praetorian sometime, the story missions there are great but you REALLY need a character that can solo well. It's really really hard to get a team there. -

Quote:That, and the large damage buff Brutes get from fury drowns out other damage buffs a bit. It's not exactly beacuse they 'don't need damage' that Musculature isn't ideal. Musc is great for Blasters, Scrappers and Stalkers (who also don't exactly need more damage). But since they have high base AT modifiers, they benefit more from Musculature than Brutes with their low base mod (same way they get more out of build up and etc).

I tend to use notice of the well and shards for tier 3 alpha. That's about the only thing I'll use shards for.
-
I thought the system gives you a message if the recipient can't get it for some reason or another? I could be wrong though.

Take fearsome stare as soon as you can get it and use it every spawn.
-
And aoe toggle stealth powers (steamy mist, shadowfall) never cancel.

Quote:Cooldowns on abilities don't start until the animation finishes. You can't have a gapless single ability rotation. On a single targeted attack, I can repeat single shot forever, since its cooldown is shorter than its animation.
(Well, actually I think it's possible for the cooldown to start earlier, but I can't think of any ability that isn't coded this way, so you might as well think of it like this) -
Note that currently WP's taunt aura (and I think SR's) is horribly gimp compared to all other tanker taunt auras. It has 1/10th the duration of what most tank sets get and duration factors heavily into the aggro generated by taunt auras. Makes it a lot harder for WP to hold aggro compared to other tank sets.
Also, with just accolade bonuses and no set hp bonuses, Elec would get 2,248 hp at 50, and WP would get about 2811 hp at 50. 25% more hp for WP, which is less than the 40% more you're mentioning. Where are you getting your numbers from?
That said, WP is a fairly nice toggle and go defense set, just has aggro issues.
