I've been away this weekend and just read through this thread. Very interesting debate between Cactus Brawler and Ammon, I've actually learnt a lot, thanks.
Now, attention all LORDS players, get your behinds to the Militia forums and we'll start plotting. Union roleplayers, thank you for your interest, your support and your faith in our abilities to entertain. We look forward to your own contributions to the coming plots. This here thread will suffice to update you OOC, and keep an eye out for further plotting in the (Sisarose) Thugz Mansion. -

The Corporation is very interested in the LORDS (Mainly as a rival.) We're waiting on the boss (Mr. Sebastian) to get back from his holiday then we can arrange a OOC meet about IC things if you would like?

Well, I mean I will chat out of character with anyone we plan plots with, but we have nothing yet and remember, in-character wise, the LORDs don't even exist. *waves fingers in a mesmerizing spell*
Oh and GoodGuy, I think you might've missed my above post. -
"Do we get to be participants or merely an audience?"
Good question Netherwitch. I have of course, got my own plans and suggestions for the future of the LORDs and will be discussing where we take this project with the other 6 members. For now, it is safe to say (as I hinted on the Nomads thread) that the project will involve many community plots over the year. Mainly mass PVP. For example, in early 2006 when Wu Long Shin and an army of other villaingroups struck Sirens Call, and again in late 2006 (you were not here yet) when the Gang and coalitions (see Handbook) invaded Paragon City (consecutive battles in all four PvP zones). These community plot events involved both Union PvP'ers and RP'ers amassing literally under 100 participants. So, look forward to a huge chance to participate, and/or spectate. I'm thinking of subplots with villains (probably mainly the Corporation, League of Scoundrels) and subplots with heroes (mainly the Nomads, the Militia) where fighting or investigating the LORDs will be key to the hero's ultimate victory. -
Here are your avatars. Let me know if you want anything changed, I hope you like them.

((I think this team has a lot of interesting plot potential. I like the fact that they are a collection of the best skilled, good-moralled individuals, powerful enough to defend the Galaxies. Yeah, I'll sign up my hero. I actually have a big community plot planned for later this year that would center around a threat that only a team such as the Nomads could stop. Yes, it'll likely involve the Lords.))
Recruit: The Priest
Reason: He is exceptionally powerful.
Profile: Militia notes on The Priest.
Powers: Pious is a morphogenetic mutant, able to physically extract and utilize the abilities of others.
Contact: He can be summoned from the Moth Cathedral or found among the Militia. -

Loved the comic strip. Short, sweet and it made me laugh. Jero's in trouble though, he missed a tell from Mom!

A nicely set plot profile Shadowe, looking forward to reading up on the Requiem War. Speaking of profiles, we're running categorical themes for the next couple months. January's character features will be chosen at random from the female pool! And February's from the male! Now without further ado, for the first week of the new year
<ul type="square">[*]Our featured Hero is Eci Hammer from the great city of London!
[*]Our featured Villain is the Shadow Huntress from the monster hunting squad, the Hyenas!
[*]Enjoy the read, and remember to keep up to date with the new Current Events section![/list] -
This thread has given me a precious idea for a project.

I totally agree with Hates and what has been said so far. My evil mastermind, Pistol, is not mentally unstable and similarly to her friends the Duchess Giovanna Scaldi and Vanessa DeVore, she does actually live a life of grandiose and killing people is favorably a pastime. Her motivation is to ultimately destroy the world, but one person at a time, why hurry, the slower the pain, the more her gain. So, she can be sociable with her peers, others who share her cause. She sees them as assets, tools to reaching her end game, and assets must be entertained, not abused. When she encounters a hero in social circumstances, she'll enjoy the chat, so long as the hero doesn't ruin her evening by bringing up topics of her evil business or something. So, I effectively play a truly evil villain who is capable of putting on a friendly mask, if it'll benefit her in the long run. The idea is also my remedy for "the bleed" which can be discomforting at times.

Wow thanks Psygon, I love it. I can't help but wonder how you produce these.
-
Ohh, nice render. Which effects did you use and how did yo achieve the snow?
-
I'll miss you man. Take care.

Well, most images don't work zoomed out because the actor becomes hard to recognize, or the drama of facial expressions are lost, or just a general lack of relationships with shapes and colour. But, I mean its possible to get the whole body in, or the face and shoulder, or the face down to the waist. We want you to like your avatar, so just specify how you want it zoomed, or you'll likely get the usual close-up.

Two days later Myst, here you are. Hope you like it, if not let us know what we can do.
Miss Blue Myst -
I drew this graphic novel using Photoshop. The filtered images are in-game screenshots of actors and locations and the stories are ongoing plots that anyone in the Union Universe (the RP world) could join. Thanks Rapthorn, Damsel. Glad you enjoyed the story.

Here you are Psygon. Priest & Damsel. One drawing of the Priest is okay. Thanks in advance!
