From a design perspective, I think those renders are very well done. Great use of colour, the simplicity really gets the cuteness of the characters across well, with no detailed distractions, just clean lines and well curved edges. A very different artistic language, and somehow, it works. Would love it if you could do one for my character, should I give you a screenshot?

I can't make any promises as to how soon I can get a picture done (christmas brings with it a break from my PC, and the next one I make will be for one of my husband's toons) but if you post a screenshot I'll see what I can do. And for anyone else... they do take a little time so I certainly couldn't do hundreds of them but I can certainly try and do a few

It's kinda similar to South Park, but Psy (<3) makes it so much cuter ^^

they are slightly derivative of different styles - kind of chibi style would be the closest I suppose... but since I draw them in PhotoShop and Illustrator they are more South Park looking
Can't honestly remember what I was looking at when I made the first ones as was so long ago, and I've just tried to refine that original style since then by making them more curvy and giving them cuter eyes
p.s. stole my sisters PC and started work on a Priest drawing but keep getting pulled into Christmas games of scrabble and WoW the board game... but should be finished soon :P

Psy, I'd like to echo everyone else's comments. These are great. Well done on the work.
IMO they're not too cute and have the balance just right. They remind me of those keyring comic characters. I can't remember what they're called, but a friend bought me a Hell Boy one last year.

Actually... they are mostly done in PhotoShop Sometimes I use Illustrator but since I only have that at work at the moment I've just been using PhotoShop.
As far as actual production goes... it's mostly just a case of making a very bad sketch on paper (and I mean really bad) and then copying that sketch by making curves and circles in Photoshop and joining them up until they look the way I want...
And, I'm pleased you like the picture
As for further requests... they do take a little while so I can't do hundreds but post a pic and I will see what I can do.

For a while now I have been making little avatar pictures for people in my supergroup and a few friends (you can see a few on the Iron Monkeys website - we use them on the roster section of the page...). Anyway, to cut a long story short I was a bit bored one evening and I decided to redo the avatar of me... and since I was fairly pleased with the result I thought I would share it here
It's not perfect, but it's a lot closer to what I intended when I sat down all those months ago and started making avatars for the Iron Monkeys...
