    Elec/Energy drains all the end with PB + Short Circuit whereas Elec/Elec you need SC and Power sink which takes longer but you get full endursnce from it.

  5. Katana/SR is a really fun combo both PvE and PvP. Its the first toon I really properly PvPed with.

    Unlike most people I find Aid self much more useful than the autos (especially when you have a +def power like divine avalanche), it really lowers your downtime and slotted with 2 interupt reduces it very rairly gets interupted.

    What is really great about SR is that if you carry purples with you, you get god mod whenever you like. Bringing a tray full of purples meant I could herd on my BS/SR with little risk and I didnt use elude very much at all (very unlike my first SR when I practically had it on auto ). So by carrying purples for tough sections, mobs, using Divine avalanche as much as possible and taking aid self you will find it very easy to level. Also having bubblers or empath in your team will give you that perma elude feeling too

    This is my latest build which is more PvE and Sirens friendly than my pure arena build which had 3 attacks and DA Its also more of a concept build with the taunt and weapons mastery but its a good starting point

    PvP Night.

    Was good fun again, some more new faces, I really look forward to Monday nights now
    and all that time grinding a toon is so worth it when you get to pvp with them
  7. Decent enough build but theres a few changes I would make:
    - I would switch health for swift for unsuppressed movement.
    - You need interupt reductions in aid self
    - Elec mastery isnt the best for an Energy/Energy 95% of pvpers have acro meaning you need to stack two holds so you're better off with cold mastery (hibernate) or force mastery (force of nature). Drop power push for the third epic.
    - Boost range is really good with Energy blast as power burst is short range probably worth swapping for nova or conserve power.
    - Not much point slotting 3 Accuracy as mostly when you attack you will be using aim + bu so better off having recharges or end reductions
    - Slot jump in CJ nothing else.

    Fire Melee was never nerfed . . well more than any other because of ED. Fire Sword Circle and Combustion are awesome in PvE and Greater Fire Sword has the same damage as Total Focus and Knockout blow but generally fire is less resisted.

    If you want to damage chose Fire Aura but Invul can PvP just fine.

    Invul/Fire wouldnt work in sirens at all but could be workable in Warburg and RV although you would make it hard for yourself. If you still want Fire Melee to be serious in PvP you have to take Fire Aura, but if you want to be a damage dealing tank that can solo Fire/SS would be a better bet if you ask me (Fire/Energy Melee is awesome although practially impossible to solo until 35+ at least)

    Nothing wrong with it in PvE but nothing special in PvP and awful in Sirens.

    Damage Slotting

    Fury is only 200% at full . . . well I say only thats not 800%

    This is basically having your attacks 3 slotted and perma build up, allowing you to slot other stuff before damage, accuracy and end reduction mainly.

    Depending on your sets you may wish to skip damage slots entirely (SS/ mainly). Although as the buff from fury is no where near the cap its not a waste to slot damage, on my EM/Fire I have ET Slotted 2 Acc 3 Dam 1 End and TF 2 Acc 2 Dam 2 End for example. The damage slotting only really helps against bosses as full fury + bu 1 shots lieus.

    If you could mention your power sets it would help us tell you what you need

    if your travel power is SJ and you get immobed you will need to use a break free to escape otherwise you slowly hopping away with CJ. With ss you can use CJ without penalty.
  11. I have both a lvl 50 katana/sr and a lvl 50 bs/sr but overall one isnt better katana has quicker activation times, shorter recharge, less endurance, less damage. For zonal PvP and FFAs I would recommend Katana for duels and team PvP I would recommend BS. But neither is particually good until lvl 27ish with slotted Soaring Dragon or Disembowel.
  12. Swap Stun and hasten then drop stun and get ss, with screech you have little use for it and you need ss for blapping also you wont need bfs for immobs.

    With 35 and power sync I will change those end reduces in attacks for a 2nd accuracy. Not sure about Shocking grasp I'm going to try it out and spec it if necessary.

    Well knockback is a form of damage mitergation - not necessarily a good or reliable one - just trying to find a reason for the apparent imbalance

  17. I have been thinking about a PvP Ice/Ice dom for a while and your greatest weapon is slows and -rec which is great for PvP as its uresistable (cant BF out of slows and no slow surpression). If your opponent is slowed it makes sense to go with range so I would drop Greater Ice Sword and take shiver (-65% recharge for 18 seconds) which at leasts for which from a pvp point of view is the sets best power especially when combined with your other slows and PB. I've seen glaciar used very effectively in PvP especially with domination up but I also think ice slick is worth mentioning for two reasons: first is the -90% speed and second is that if you hold someone their knockback protection detoggles so they would get knockbacked even after using a bf or surpression kicks in.

    This is the build I'm looking to use (this is a hyperthetical build rather than from experience and every time I look at it I switch the powers around for sirens ):

    After typing all this I found out the Greater Ice Sword has a 65% chance to toggle drop . . . so I need to rethink >.<

    On corruptors you get a 40% damage for using the power then 20% per affected mob - so a mob of 5 would grant a 40 + 5x20 = 120% damaage buff

    I wouldn't put the endurance reduction in personally, I've never seen a need for it. I've always found 2 accuracy and 3 recharge rate are absolutely fine.
