    I mentioned it, a few times, in every global channel I'm in, I brought it up with folks I regularly team with, in my SG channel (but not too often, of course), and even had it as the motd for one channel, til something else interesting came up to replace it.

    Also posted in multiple threads, made my own thread (since deleted -_-), and of course, the sig (with broken link... -_-). Got 86 plays so far... nice, but... well, that was a lot of work, so it'd be nice if I got more folks to play (or maybe they are, but not rating... no way to know, is there?).
  2. I think the reason nobody talks about it is because it happened in 1833. <_<

    It's like somebody on the street suddenly saying, "woah, what about... any of this stuff". Most of the people you meet weren't even born yet, nor their parents or great-grandparents.


    Or maybe it's just part of that background lore that the devs just forgot about, or couldn't come up with any story for it....
  3. I made one, and spent a ridiculous amount of time on it, which means I probably aren't going to be getting around to the other two which are still sitting in my folder, begging to be finished...

    Guess I'll just wait for i15, and all the extra stuff the Architect gets then.

    Random maps=bad?

    On the normal missions, the crystals aren't supposed to spawn too closely to a glowie (note "supposed"), as this was "fixed" quite a while ago, for the same reason you give above.

    On the MA maps, though, the placement for random glowies, and the spawn points of potential crystals, might not be set right... and since we have zero control of where, or even if, a crystal spawns... well, CoT maps can be tricky to test and play. <_<;;

    Random maps=bad?

    Cimeroran caves don't have anything particularly annoying for objects and NPCs to get caught on, or hidden in, so they're probably safe for setting to random.

    I couldn't use a random CoT map specifically due to the portals. Wish we could select a series of maps, and mark them for our own random selection.

    Cave maps I also couldn't set to random, simply because even the small cave maps could use the "five-floor" end room, and I wouldn't wish that on anybody.

    All of my new characters will take advantage of level 6 travel powers, though I doubt I'm going to respec all those high level ones just for the same benefit. -_-

    Hmm, wonder what the next badge will give us? <_<
  9. Sliders for the level ranges they already sell, and for multiple origin stores (like Ghost Falcon, Elite Quartermaster, and Vanguard store), have a dropdown list for which origin you wish to buy.

    No more endless scrolling for your origin. >_<

  11. Yeah, Zamuel's right, you went past the glowie, three times, in fact. However, I never actually saw it on screen, so it could very well have been behind one of those large containers.

    That's sort of a problem we have with the MA, in that we have very little control over where anything is placed, other than "back", "front", "middle"... which doesn't tell us much, since it's hard to tell where the three sections are on some maps... and other maps ignore it altogether. >_<

  13. Well, what the heck.

    Mine isn't a serious arc, but it's full of customs with a fantasy theme going. Three indoor maps, no EB/AVs, but I've received comments that my custom critters are tough, so I'd recommend Rumble Shock or Mikahl Zarak. >_>

  15. It's likely that chicken tug will come back, but be an interruptible emote or just have the animation cycle duration down.

    Of course, we're still waiting on the return of various objects and maps that haven't come back either...
  16. Heh, I'll use odd things for Interrupts, such as "you blinked, start over", "you hesitate for a moment", "your concentration was broken", whatever is appropriate for the glowie.

    I'm glad that everybody in the team can read the Clues (I think they added that to all TFs some time ago, before i11, I believe), but I would like everybody in the team to see the "You Gots Clues OMG!" message that flashes by.

    Actually, I'd like to add my own message that could fly by. Would make adding spawned objectives easier for everybody to notice ("Why didn't the mission end? Oh, wait, a boss is left, when did that get added?").
  17. There's no guarantee they'll show up, unless the custom group contains only those two characters. However, it's entirely possible you'll have the Boss, and a Lt. spawn of multiple downgraded-bosses.

    It's a limit of the system, I'm afraid. If they're supposed to be having a conversation, you could have them do the cellphone emote, I suppose... though if the bosses have toggles, they won't emote properly. >_<

    I turned off autosave after I saw the first save message pop-up. I think I'm too skittish of autosaves after playing Morrowind for so long (autosaving, or quicksaving, on the same save file would eventually corrupt it), so I shut that thing off immediately.

    I tend to manually save after any long-typing I had to do (like all the contact's dialogue, or a series of objectives/clues). <_<
  19. A possible reason is that the map is "special", since it's only used in the Winter Event. Or, the devs are holding onto it for i15, or some other update.

    It also has an interior area, besides the exterior one. It's possible that the MA currently can't handle inside/outside maps (which might be a reason why we don't get mayhem/safeguard maps). Of course, they could release it to us without the caves.

    I would like to have it, too, since it's the only snow-covered outdoor map we have. Of course, if the devs want to make a few additional snow-covered maps, and release them all at once, I'm game for that.
  20. I read everything that I can. Playing a melee type, I'm usually in the thick of things so I don't have the time to read bios on custom mobs (or bios on any objective mobs that are dev-made). During combat pauses, I'll look at any Clues I've found, and I'll read the Souvenir at the end.

    When I make an arc, I add text to all the options, including specific Click,interrupt, progress bar, and complete chat for glowies. I'm sure not everybody bothers to read that stuff (though I hope they at least look at the Clue), but if case they do, it's there. <_<

  23. Well, that was a nice video, though I couldn't help that even the dev's PCs lagged some when doing that Grandville shot over Recluse's statue. :P


    I'm sure I'm in that Atlas park group shot, but the angle of the camera makes it hard to see anybody on the top steps. >_<

  24. Actually, I wanted Deceive on my custom Boss originally, but I couldn't get it without getting all powers (and I didn't want Phantasm). I can get it now, but I have to set it to Standard, which means I lose the Terror, but don't get the Phant. Oh wells. >_<

    Now confuse-using minions would be a concern, especially if multiple ones show up in the same spawn. o_O
