hmmm, well I have just returned to CoH (it's more my brother's fault, seeing him play made me nostalgic) urm, something new being added into the game, power customs will help lots XD

But seriously, when you create an empath, you sort of know what your letting yourself in for.
I do love to blast things with pink, noisy stuffs, but I know my main purpose in busy teams is healing, however many buffs I throw at people, and people will usually notice your heals more than your buffs anyhoo.

I agree, I love defiant, but i also love RP.
I just find that going onto union and not having really much choice if I RP or not, is not something I want to fully sign up to.
A while ago we did try RPing, and trying to make an RP event every week, but, we found it only lasted a week and then nobody came again...RP on defiant takes a lot of courage!

I might just take thunderstorm down to 3 recharge and put the slots somewhere else.
I think thunderstorm seems like a nice chaos making power, but for damage I can see my blasts being much more useful.

Agree totally, my emp doesnt ever notice it, but then, with stamina she never drops end really anyways.
My storm though, even though she's only low level, you notice it amazingly in the hollows! If peoples health drops low, she can keep her toggles running and not even really notice

I did have the nuke instead of the sentinel at one point but found it really annoying dropping all my toggles when I fired off nuke, so respecced it out pretty quick... It's probably just personal preference but I know I was definitly very much in favour of keeping all my toggles running

thats why I didnt take the nuke in this build, I cant be doing with having no end, especially when there are better things to be doing

Okies, Critique welcome from fellow stormies/those with knowledge/anyone!
I'm a bit worried about the slotting, as, it seems that I can't fit in attack slotting until much later, which is something I really wanted to avoid.
I feel she might be too much a defender, and her attacks will suffer as a result
Also, would anyone suggest Electric mastery, over Power Mastery, for power sink?The amount of end that this toon looks like she'll be using, I think an aoe end drain might be just what she needs!
Can power sink compete with conserve power?

I must be rubbish, I'm still actually using it... Mental Blast? Yeah, I actually still use it alot... Don't seem to have many problems with it either, but, Lani's more of a support character, so I haven't really thought much in terms of damage powers.

I use mental blast all the time
I don´t have many problems with it, but when I compare it to TK blast, and Will domination...well, then the flaws start to show themselves.
I would rather choose Subdue over mental blast though, I love the animation!
..to be honest, everything in psi blast is amazing

Okies, I´ve been thinking about creating a villain that I might actually play for quite a while, and I really like the look of cold domination, and have thought up 100 concepts around it!
So, anybody got any experience playing cold (I´m sure there are hehe) what powers are a must, what powers can you really do without? What blast really goes well with it, and what alternatives apart from ice would you suggest?
Any help is welcome, and will be rewarded with magical cookies, or something
