I was kind of expecting something more elaborate myself, but on the other hand the ones we got work fantastically with my /dev blaster.

So is this 21.5? Or are they stopping with the .5's? :P
Well, since this .5 looks like it's being split into two parts (one trial and powers now, another trial later) I figure they've moved to .333's(repeating).

Yea sorry, it's just on the female model. Don't know why I forgot to mention that. I even checked the other character models when I was looking at the pieces in the character creator.
  4. The new high collared cape (which is kind of fantastic) has a relatively large gap on the sides between where the shoulder part of the cape ends and where the actual cape itself begins. It's relatively noticeable to be honest.

Honestly the best thing to do would probably be to PM one of the community reps here on the boards or do an in-game petition or bug report about it. That way either we'll know that there's something that will unlock the EATs for premium players or you'll know that you will have to unlock the EAT on some later date when the bug gets fixed (and more importantly you'll know that before you invest a lot of time in the character).

To the best of my knowledge, no it is not. You either need to be VIP or buy the unlock.

Sadly I've found that to be true of most MMOs I've played over the years. The main site is usually fine and dandy for seeing upcoming news and looking for patch notes and the like, but if you want hard (and useful) information on things you really need to look at secondary sources.

Looking at the list there is an MMO listed in the subscription category that went free to play over the summer. So I'm not sure that argument holds water.

It's the only game on that list that's had Arnie play the title character.

Yea, that's generally how my brain wants to parse and apparently use it in these threads.

And if you just flattened Valkyrie's spear tip into more of a pointy blade it would work just fine. To be perfectly honest I haven't paid that much attention to her spear in ages. I actually kind of thought it already was more of a blade than a point. It's just such a horrendously boring and forgettable costume ....

My big question is what are you doing with the game that's costing you almost $50 a month?

That aside, I'd probably keep my 50 energy/dev blaster. I've had her since release and for some reason I keep on going back and playing her even though I have a ton of gripes about the /devices set.

I'm really not sure about my second character. I'm kind of leaning towards it being my warshade though.

To an extent I agree with you. But unless they've changed the animations for the set from when that video was leaked (entirely possible) then the staff animations used with a spear of some kind would only look as implausible as Seung Mina's do from the Soul Calibur series. Heck, in that series she and Kilik (the pure staff fighter) share a significant portion of their moveset. Granted, I'm not sure how 'accurate' Seung Mina's moves are, but they've never looked like they didn't fit the weapon at all to me.

Yea, the only movie I have down quite that well is probably The Princess Bride. Back when I was in tech-school in the military (for an incredibly geeky career field) I was actually banned from the day-room when anyone watched that movie. Apparently I had a tendency to say lines before they were spoken under my breath without realizing it. I've watched the movie perhaps a few too many times.

Also they wouldn't let me play as Seung Mina in the Soul Calibur 2 tournaments, but that's another matter entirely.

To an extent that's always kind of struck me as kind of the point of the title. Since the whole episode's about working with Garak to get the Romulans to join the war. Allowing bad people to do bad things to other bad people to hopefully bring about the end of even worse people.

Also, I know, way to ruin a joke. I've just always thought it a fairly apt title for an episode.

  15. Ok, this very well be my perception of things being off, but I just don't get Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor and Green Lantern being called 'b-list' superheoes by that article.

Based entirely on that leaked video I'd say the animation was 2-ish seconds for sky splitter. Also, in case you were counting that tick of smashing/energy/psi damage they have listed, that's only if you have 3 levels built up in whatever form you're currently in.

Well, I mean you'd be crazy to live there. It's so hot and muggy. And there's only a couple of inches worth of snow in the winter, if it even snows at all.

    Crazy I tell ya.

Books-a-Million. Sure, B&N is rather bigger than BAM, but it's still a pretty decently sized chain book retailer. Also, speaking as far as book retailers in general go ... um ... Amazon?

I mean I'm sorry, but if you're selling new books, regardless of if you're an online or a brick and mortar store you're competing with Amazon.
  22. I wouldn't rely on a lore pet for status protection. The things can only be up for 5 minutes out of every 15 while with clarion you can have it up almost constantly.

I'd honestly probably try switching the alpha slot to the 45% damage musculature and possibly not toggling on assault to see how that impacts your end usage. It's largely how my blaster's set up and while I'll have some end issues when I have my Spiritual Core Paragon slotted they largely go away when I switch that out for my Muscular Core.

That's just my thoughts on the matter anyway. Of course, I'm not terribly min/max'y ... my incarnated out blaster is energy/dev.

Quite possibly what happened. I just think it's entertaining that DC's response to the issue is that their strategy is to make their products available to read in whichever format their customers prefer ... but they're not and that appears to be the entire issue.
