    Perhaps, your story missions aren't as much "story" as mine or you are creating custom critters that have extreme power sets.
    I have no problem getting minion/lt/boss ambushes to spawn. Tweak the ambush difficulty setting.

  7. I get about a pvp IO every 1-2 hours at least in RV. Its roughly 25-40 kills an hour at least. There are freak dry spells and freak drop spells where i don't get any for 3 days and then get 2 within the hour. As it stands with declining purple prices, PvP ios are going to be the "Big Items" Which makes me a happy panda.

    I have yet to start PLing myself, but I am an avid fan of farming. I've made Farming Stalkers, brutes, doms, veats, trollers and even an MM to an extent.

    WP= You're Prolly going to die, it just takes longer
    Elec= You're GOING to die, it just takes a bit longer then most
    Nin= You MIGHT die, just if you do, its rather quick.
  13. The changes are still rediculous. The devs obviously put very little thought into them. XP equalizes for the most part if you're running all Boss, All LT, all minion or mixed groups. The actual numbers in terms of XP efficentcy went like, Minions, Boss, Mixed, LTs.

    The difference between minions and lts being a measly approximate 3.5%.

    So in truth, if they had applied JUST these changes and not the SSK ones, you would have seen very little change in it.


    Disclaimer, These are my numbers, run from my own experience and own recordings, doubt them if you want, they are accurate.

    Elec is still behind both WP and Nin in terms of survivability due to Energize, while still awesum, is not as good for stalkers as it is for brutes due to lower base HP, and therefore a lesser heal and lesser regen rate. It also does not have Perception inherently.

    WP and Nin are a personal choice, WP tends to get good "early"(Meaning that little time is required to bring it up to par with most other stalker secondaries), I am still of the opinion that /Nin is the best for stalkers, but only after signifigant experience and investment.

  17. It depends on what you farm. On my farm, I can level a mob in about 5 seconds, the only problem being, that the damage the enemies do at range is Energy, NE and Fire; At melee its all S/L. If I were to take the up front damage from the alpha even with FS and Tough running, I would be dead with several hundreds of points of damage to spare.

    Now, from my experience, slotting for excessive +recharge is slightly useless, it doesnt take much to get like 2 fulcrums to overlap perma. After that point and reaching damage cap, for me at least, the excess recharge is a waste.

    After sinking well over 3 bill into my different fire/kins, 3 to be exact, I simply prefer my defense build //Fire to most other builds, its just easier to handle with less attention, my 125% global recharge does go *Slightly* faster.

    LT farms have been the most efficent types of farms (exploits aside), and are, still the most efficent. I added a boss and minion to my group, set diff to +2/8-No Bosses, flooring a group in approx. 8 seconds.


    Thing that had the most impact on the efficentcy of my farm?

    SSK.

    Doing the math, the MA specific changes bring down my XP to 63-86%, SSK is what truely hurt the system.

    Actually, contrary to what you think, nova form is rediculous for pvp. Some people are strict Nova using human form for only heals, QF and IS.

    I don't know PBs, a few people around here do though, the only remarkable PB ive seen around though is Dawun. There is a thread deeper in the pvp boards about PB builds, i suggest you look through a few pages.
  20. I might fire up Hero Stats and help here. I was seriously doubting the existance of this until I ran my council runs. If you need some help collecting data, I can offer farmers on both sides, quite a few different maps. I'm Not quite sure what exactly you need, so if you would post it here, PM it to me or contact me IG i would happily help gather some data.

    I am still rather sure the demon map was droppin the right drops when i was using it today, this problem is rather.. Elusive?
  21. My two cents,

    I will explain to you why this build is flawed.

    You went Overkill on two particular types of damage, leaving yourself open to other types.

    Build for Ranged defense, I have seen more fire/kins die while trying to FF and contain a mob then while in it.

    Try this build.

    I Run this build, Using smoke, it puts you at almost 40% defense to E/NE and over soft cap for ranged. 64% resist to S/L. In most cases, I can run into groups of +1-2 con enemies and roll them and not use my heal.

    The reason my farming will take longer?

    Not these changes, it has more to do with the SSK system. Otherwise the XP efficentcy has been reduced a staggering 25-35%. The group I farm, I down a 6 man spawn in about 5 seconds, or, FC+FS+FB+FC. I literally spend more time traveling in my mission then actually killing.

    What are these changes really doing?



    Killing AE story Arcs. No, Really.

    The difference for a 49 toon running an AE all boss farm on Dreck map and a 49 running a liberate TV map using patrol XP, using pre-16 data is that, the 49 running RC was making more XP due to the maps being run through faster and the Patrol XP.




    In conclusion, I'm Neutral to these changes, they don't bother me, they don't impede me, they don't even register. I am quite certain these are some of the most useless changes yet.
  23. I noted. Something Really Really Odd.

    I Ran 5 Defeat All Villains In Area(Demon Map:Hero Side) leaving 1 mob alive, -1, 6 man for the following results:

    11 Recipes, 3 of those being Invention
    13 Recipes, 2 being Invention
    9 Recipes, 4 being Invention
    14, 5 being invention
    12 Recipes, 2 Being Invention.

    Now the variation of the recipes is somewhat expected, seeing as how i skip a group, the variation is rather wide, but after being hinted by another player.

    I Ran The "Close Dimensional Ruptures", A farm map hero side with Axis Enemies, or maybe council, but the spawns between it and the Demon Map are within 5 of each other, so relatively close results are to be expected. Again -1 for 6 man:

    3 Recipes, 0 Inventions
    9 Recipes, 2 Inventions
    1 Recipe, 0 Inventions
    5 Recipes, 0 Inventions




    >>Definetly something is not quite right. The variation in the drop rate on the Demon map is near my Pre-16 Numbers of 12-15 a map, but my numbers on the Council map are wildly varying and absurdly lower to the 14-15 i would get before hand per map.
