What primary are you looking at? These days I'd give the nod to Elec, BS, and then maybe EM. As Divine said though you're better off running as a WP instead of a Regen - the extra perception, repel resists (outside of MoG), and good-ish resists will be more useful in a zone environment.

I still stubbornly say that /nin is prolly the best stalker secondary.
As for Primary there are: Elec, EM, DM and a case could be made for BS.
Elec has the standard AS, but what sets it apart is the Crit portion of the Thunderstrike exploits, or uses, exploits is a harsh word, a hole in the Stalker Critical code allowing thunderstrike to crit like 2-5 times. Meaning a BU + AS + Placate + TS can be stupidly devastating.
EM Is kind of classic, You have you're AS and two heavy hitters, ET is preferable as an AS follow up as it stuns and doesn't crit, so there is no need for placate. Total focus for stalkers has lost its shine, its slightly sub par to ET but can partially crit for a little more then ET damage. The activation time on it often kills u.
DM just has the follow up speeds, Its fallen out of style since its main allure was a quick two shot and then booking it. It also has a nice self heal if thats your thing.
BS is almost completely sub-par, Its only real follow up is Headsplitter, which, has a chance to crit outside hide, but even during the small chance it crits, it hits for a little more then ET, I would take ET for reliablilty over HS.
Ninjitsu is still moar awesum then WP.
