I can't see that the claws element could be changed for stalkers alone, without effecting the scrapper version, without totally destroying the set in itself.
Claws/Regen Scrapper - don't want it changed, mine works particularly well
Claws/SR Stalker - Don't take too much damage solo on my lvl 32 (even on mobs of 4+ on 2nd hardest setting). You just need to plan your assault carefully, making sure you use buildup, AS, placate, focus and shockwave. I do agree that the stalker set misses Spin, but then you have AS which more than compensates. Used well, eviserate can be very effective with multiple targets.
What's your secondary though TheMess? as this may put a different spin (bad pun I know) on it.
One small nitpicking point on your previous posts... I think you mean "does" rather than "dose", unless you're trying to send us all to sleep.. -

[/ QUOTE ]Been there, doing that, except it's non-MA missions (obviously). My lvl 41 DB/SR scrapper is completely self sufficient, without any kind of purchasing at all or gift receiving ... my vault reserve and WW slots are always filled. Probably lost loads of inf from deleting things.... but it's certainly a challenge. You wouldn't want to see my build (as it is riddled with all types of SOs and IOs). -
Thanks for the interest Uther_D, but going to pull the plug on this for the time being, due to MA going live on Wednesday. May just do some random taskforces over the weekend instead. Will reschedule for another time... if you want to still do this though, someone else has advertised ingame on the defiant events channel... same days, but 6pm start.

Scrappers
Scrappers were designed to solo the best out of any AT, so stick to what you are good at. Speed things up by splitting off from the main group or running in first to a new group. If things get to heavy, run back to the main group. The healer may not be paying attention, so run up to him shouting "Heal" to get his attention especially if the fender's a /dark, /sonic or /rad. Its very helpful to try and drag the enemies you engaged with you, so the team can deal with them. Best if you drag them to a blaster so he can blast them. Try and target minions as they are most easily defeated.

You know you can buy additional slots to,this will save you deleting a 50 or have you filled them all full of 50s as well !!!

However be warned, once you select a specific server (eg. defiant), you can't then change it in the future (eg. to union). Once you lock it onto a server it stays locked...!! -

Definitely can attack standard enemies and get the exploration badge, before doing the bank though, 150% certain of that -

I personally hate the unseen timer that starts upon entry in the safeguard mission and then goes off, when you have been in the mission for an "x" amount of time, especially when I've been ignoring the bank, and concentrating on defeating the spawned mobs and vandals instead, but then have to leg it to the bank to stop the robbers from escaping. -

BTW - the stealth IOs are unique and mutually exclusive - e.g. having a stealth IO from the flight set not only stops you slotting a second flight stealth IO but it also stops you slotting a jump/run/teleport stealth IO (in that build).

I know this TF can be a bit of a drag ranging from 4-7 hours for completion, depending on ghosting and team makeup. What I'm proposing is to do this over 2 days, to brake it up. We can attempt it in 1 day if people prefer, but 2 is easier.
So thinking of starting at 14:30 BST (British summertime) on each day, doing 3-4 hours first day, then remainder on second. Day 1 - Friday 10th, Day 2 - Sat 11th April If you're interested, you can earn 111 reward merits!

[/ QUOTE ]To enlarge upon this... there are also different sets that allow you the same benefit, which you can only slot one of.
EG. you can only have 1 stealth IO per toon, so if you craft a running IO set with stealth, and a flying IO set with stealth too... one of them cannot be slotted.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes but my idea to get round that was to only ever allow 1 respec from the same contact, however once that respec that was earned has been used up, then you'd have to repeat the taskforce to get another one. So in the same way, you'll never have anymore than 3 earned respecs at any one time available.
[/ QUOTE ]A solid suggestion, one that I would agree too... but then you would need to know what respec you were using, so that you don't attempt the wrong respec trial (wasting time for the wrong result), which would mean more work for the devs... so on that basis it wouldn't get recoded, even though this sounds like the best option all round IMO.

I've also noticed recently that some enemies have improved their AI. My Thug MM hardly draws any ayyention, but the other day Longbow mobs were deliberately attacking me, rather than my henchmen. Either I got too close or they are starting to use their spidey powers....

Try using Soul Drain then Shield Charge in the middle of a large spawn. Almost as good as a Blaster nuke (It'l take out all the minions anyway), and without the risk.

[/ QUOTE ]Give it time Calamity, Don't worry about range (wasted slot if you use range IOs), recharge can be improved with LoTG's global increase IO in your build (if you have the inf), and Damage can be intensified, see S_Neko's post -

Best advice I can offer you is to broadcast ingame that you need a VG, best place would seem to be in Cap-au-Diable, as most villains hang out there, what with the BM and Uni being close together. -
Just for interest, how long did it take for your team to complete this Kendai, as I'll be running 1 soon, and not sure if I should do it on split days or in 1 go.

For Standard missions and TF's (not inclusing STF) I would say that the most important powers to have IMO are :-
Recall Friend
Hasten + SS
Vengeance (Took Defence and Accuracy to get that)
Fortitude
Clear Mind (Mainly used on other Defs and Trolls on team)
AB (Blasters quick end fix)
I might even respec in Absorb Pain. never needed it b4, but it's a get outta jail free heal power.
A good defender attack chain is :-
Recall friend->Vengeance->Rez
But seriously if you want to be a pure empath then fine, but for me, as soon as team is buffed then I become a crazed attacking Fender. When RA's are dropped don't be surprised to see me in the middle of the mob letting go of NRG Nova. However, don't do this unless you have 2 small blues as a minimum and a tank/scranker to retake the aggro.
