They forgot the infamous (not so much nowadays) Debt Cap
-
Spines/WP or Claws/WP, both are nice scrappers and easy going for a first time scrapper, but I'd vouch for giving your DM/WP a chance, specially with the new DM tweaks on I13.
DM/DA and DM/SR are my personal favourites though, but harder to handle than the previous I mentioned. -
I have a Kat/Inv that I must admit I have him forgotten for a long time because the build I projected is soo expensive that I can't get myself to start on it. It was really fun scrapper that breezed until the 40's (my second 50 when sets were not even a rumour) and had endurance problems once I put in Focused Accuracy (when SOs came from +3 to +1 it was very noticeable with FA), but he was fun to play.
/DA is my favourite scrapper secondary and I think it can go well with Katana, but I'd prefer Kat/Inv, you can get a better performance from Kat/Inv with a minimum set investment than with Kat/DA.
If you are planning to spend loads of inf, then both will do great and I'd say go for the one that fits concept better. -
They have to be included since two accounts from same player are individual accounts to NCSoft and to the servers at all effects.

Poor _Stryke_, he seemed a nice chap, tragic how things developed -
Maybe your subconscious played a trick on you?

I think there's a link to all Arcanaville's works in her signature, you should be able to find them upon any post of her in US forums.
I might have a copy saved at home, will check it for you.
Edit: Not sure this is what you're looking for. -
Sorry for overreacting, but one can't be too careful nowadays in forums.
The only problem with numbers is that they show what the past has been (for good or bad), I'm sure before I9 people was also discouraged and then after I9, voilĂ , numbers went up again (although many of us didn't believe I9 was going to be that good). The main thing for me is that comments like Positron's on that interview, should be handled more carefully... by himself, if he throws the comment, he has to expect interpretations and reactions, if we are to be cautious, he should be even more cautious than us, let's not forget that, in a way, he works for us. -

Nightmarer?
Quick Reply. He's probably NOT replying to you, just that you were the last person to post.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, if he's replying to someone else, prolly that someone else won't get it... -

Well, DSorrow mentioned his build was for general PvE, but anyway, as it stands, defence, eluded or not, is quite crappy for PvP.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh really?
[ QUOTE ]
Going to use for general PvP, maybe even going to try and solo AVs but not in the near future.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, really
[ QUOTE ]
Oh
Typos, how we just love them was meant to say general PvE but too late to edit now

Hey what the heck are you telling me? I just pointed you where the numbers were.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup and I had already read that thread.
Highest concurrent users (13000) says to me number of people online at one time, not average users.
Monthly access (124000) says to me the total number of logins each month. So there were 124000 people playing the game that month, not 13000 as the original poster said.
Now, obviously GR's below confirms the 1st figure, but says the 2nd figure is total number of accounts accessing the servers, not logins.
There are probably more subscribers than that, plus as GR points out, that 13000 was at one point, not in a single day, so doesn't include peak EU time.
[/ QUOTE ]
OK, let me put it this way, you asked where the numbers came from and I pointed you there (not that it was so difficult to find) yet you keep replying to ME as if I had manipulated the numbers or even as if I had done any interpretation of them in this thread.
I honestly couldn't care less if you have read the thread or not as well as your personal interpretation of it, specially after GR's clarification.
Geez. -

Yet to see how the new PvP changes and Elusivity affect that, but being it still on beta, it's too early to find out. -

you've played blasters right?
if you haven't got all 6 debt badges on your blaster by the mid 30's your doing it wrong.
[/ QUOTE ]
What a load of bs, just because a blaster doesn't run in first trying to tank doesn't mean he's doing it wrong.
There is some skill to surviving you know.
Blasters are supposed to stay ranged, i hate it when they run in first thinking they pwn, then die in 3 seconds.
What's the point in that!?
[/ QUOTE ]
I bet blappers disagree with you, they usually last 4 or maybe 5 seconds -
Hey what the heck are you telling me? I just pointed you where the numbers were.

Once he's reached 45% defence (soft cap) Elude does nothing for him.

I don't understand why server merges are automatically seen as an indicator of dying game
[/ QUOTE ]
My guess would be because some games waited too much for the move and used the server merge as a last desperate resource, but such games were dead before the server merge anyway, however, the perception for people who were not familiar with them and only have access to second hand comments is merge = doom. -
Man, looking forward your arcs in the Architect feature, honestly.
Most of your ideas deserve being nominated for the monthly Creative awards.

Atlas Park, Galaxy City and central Steel Canyon map revamps: (lose 50% of the warehouse filler in the starting zones) Opera house, War Memorial (to RL deceased players).
New zones: (Spacestation/Moonbase Armstrong/Underwater Coralax kingdom)
Improved avatars: (GG don't even think about it!) - I'm talking about refined meshes and more diverse faces the quality of Mirror Spirit.
Graphical improvements: (which have been alluded to now) via their team of programmers.
Issue13 PvP Improvements: Keep at it, keep taking on-board player's constructive critisism until it is fixed.
Historical mission via Ouroboros: I still want to see Whitesands before the Rikti practised their parallel parking, Eastgate before the Hollowing, and The Moraine being launched from Independance Port.
Two more powersets available for Heroes and Villains. (Personal favourites would be Bo-Staff and Sand or Water control).
Any of the above in addition to what is already planned would make me deliriously happy.
[/ QUOTE ]
All the above plus:
A serious review for Cloak of Fear
Dark Blasters
Elec Scrappers
Non Leather Trenchcoats
The Merit System revamped (or removed for good)
The customized chat colours bug fixed
The character screen order shuffle bug fixed
The chat in active tab changing when zoning bug fixed (no, it's not fixed now)
A serious review for Cloak of Fear
A serious and challenging co-op TF the likes of STF or LRSF. -

Interesting how I9 (May '07) raised the figures but couldn't make people stay (summer?) while I10 (Oct '07 iirc) wasn't much celebrated as per numbers, being I10 one of the most highly recognized in forums. -

A mate of mine mentioned this one to me during an ITF with a PuG:
Stranger: Invite me to your SG
Mate: It is not "my" SG
Stranger: That's the s.h.i.t.t.i.e.s.t excuse I've ever heard!
Most annoying I had was prolly back a year ago and mentioned already on the forums, I was flying around with a 50 scrapper and got the following tell:
Stranger: I need your help
Me: What can i do for you?
Stranger: I'm a lvl 10 controlelr and I am bord of my missions so I need a 50 to clear them, no need to exemp, I just want to purchase insps from the contact.
Me: Can't you buy them from Arena?
Stranger: Not wakies, they're not sold in Arena
Me: What about Wincott in Hollows?
Stranger: He won't sell them either until I have progressed in his arc and in the future don't lecture someone who has been playing since day one of beta.
Can't remember many more peculiar ones except a few weeks ago when a total stranger sent me a tell saying "Shizzle!" I replied "Fo' shizzle!" and that was pretty much it, maybe a mt or maybe the guy was bored

I thought I had already read that story... saw it on the US forums from you yesterday
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup, posted it myself there too -
Not sure what Positron said can be overcome with semantics this time. Not that myself have ever been one who, when reading what any dev said automatically goes "What he really meant was..." and accomodate it to what I'd like to read, but this time Positron pushed things a bit too far.
The playerbase numbers situation, worrying or not, is not the best ever and Posi should be more careful in his comments. -
Plus no AV in Positron.
Is there any SF or Arc in Villains where you can kick his butt? I suddenly feel this urge after his I14 announcement... -

10000+ lost to WAR methinks........
[/ QUOTE ]
Seems so, although from the people I know that have moved from CoX to WAR the news are not very encouraging (some of them are still there, some others moved to WoW and a few returned to CoX but started from scratch in US servers) let's see if I13 brings some back... to stay, although I'm not very confident since the I13 content varies from "meh" to "worst idea ever" for me and for most of the ones I mentioned that are in other games.
