Quote:Hmm...didn't know about that. I had the original on VHS, and recall the "ONE....LAST....TIME" spoken and written just before the Lucas interview, and then the movie itself. I guess it should have said "ONE....LAST....TIME.....until we want more money."Already out on DVD.

The original theatrical releases are on the bonus discs, exactly as they were shown in theaters. Not even "A New Hope" added to the opening shot in the first film. They aren't anamorphic transfers, just straight letterbox (almost want to believe GL did it that way on purpose, just to irritate the fans who hated his changes), but they're the real thing. -
Fail. The only "redo" or "re-release" I want to see is the OT on DVD/Blu-ray in it's original form.
However, this quote from the article was funny:
Quote:Originally Posted by Article"You can expect Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace to kick things off in 2012, which also happens to be the year of the Mayan apocalypse. Hm..."
It's coming.... -
"I'm just....Saiyan. WAKKA WAKKA!"
Krillin's b***h rant is awesome as well. I also like the Youtube comment "vegetazela". -
Quote:+1Anyway. There is no naked cleavage in the clip. If you look properly you'll notice that the top Perry is wearing covers her to the neck. It's just flesh coloured cloth. It makes the oversensitive reaction all the more hilarious. Or sad, haven't decided yet.
I guess some of these parents never watched The Little Mermaid or Alladin? I mean, I'm all for keeping things "clean", but good lord. -
I'll jump in on this one (Knight'Hawk).
-
Zefram Cochrane anyone? I mean the dude did invent Earth's means of getting around the galaxy.
They also forgot Nemesis. -
This isn't really my cup of tea, but the song was actually pretty good. Needs less camera spinning, though.

Quote:Actually, that's probably pretty accurate.Total threadjack here, and I may get modded. Also, it may be just me and my incredibly pessimistic worldview, but...
I don't think there are any American media organizations of any kind that exhibit true journalistic integrity anymore, except where such might directly serve the bottom line...which is not integrity, so...

Also, have to agree with Fleeting Whisper. Cryptic at least should be very well known in the MMO world in that the only MMO company with a worse reputation is SOE. -
Email sent. I personally kinda find it to be a bit of a slap in the face when they do that. Paragon Studios' quality >>>>>>>>>> Cryptic's quality

Quote:First, I'm sure the military would have a way of keeping it relatively safe. They're not going to run out there with exposed tubing, pumps, etc. And even then, if you get shot/blown up, I'm pretty certain the last thing you'll be concerned with is how hot it is outside.Plus, it's a vulnerable system. Damage to the tubes, reservoir, pumps, heat exchangers, and power supply could cause failure of the entire system.
I never said it was. The only part of Durakken's suggestion I referenced was the water (or some other fluid)-cooled part. -
Night Ops? And also I'm sure there's some kind of tech out there (water-cooling as Durakken suggested) to keep the insides of the suit cool.

So I take it that's it then, for RvB. Not a bad ending, but pretty much everything after Reconstruction just didn't really appeal to me as much. Though not for the same reasons as macskull, as I loved Reconstruction.

Quote:Yeah, every damn time that stupid thing popped up and did its "alijngfasdufngafjdbg" thing, it scared the $#!% out of me. I knew it was coming, but it still got me. And the very end of that mission was wild. And no, I didn't....but it was still funny, lol.Overlord surprised me.
I mean, rogue AI/VI were nothing new to the series, but the hovertank is always fun and the corpses strewn about while creepy computer faces shouted at you created a good atmosphere.
And then Shepard pushes the button and things got VERY interesting.
A neat little twist to the mission and a quite moving ending and choice really sold that arc.
P.S.
Armless droid running about. Did everyone pull the Renegade trigger?
Also since we're on the subject of new things, at about midnight I reached out really far and found a halo. -
Put me down (Knight'Hawk), I should be there.
-
Never have, but that's.....well I would say it's a good one, but considering what it's about....
My brother's a firefighter....actually I have a number of relatives that are firefighters, so that's probably why it bothers me. -
Quote:Yeah, this is considerably better. While I do love the new diplo missions, and so far the Breen ones have been fun, this last one was "meh".Damn you all! I was gonna play the new episode of STO, but now I'm going to have to dig into this.
I personally loved all the quips about various things from the 1st game like, the comment about the skycar (?) performing better than the MAKO. Or how it was nice when "everything could be fixed with omni-gel." -
I was in 7th grade at the end of my 1st class of the day. At that point, we thought it was pilot error. By 2nd period, we knew something far more sinister was at work (Nemesis plot?
Needed some humor).
Also, I'm just going to say this, as it's already happening in another forum I'm on, if you're not going to be disrespectful or plan on posting your consipiracy theories...DON'T. Just don't even post anything. -

Okay, I'm definitely able to make this one. If there's still room.

/salute Mr. Woods.
I condsider myself a pessamist and have a rather low view of humanity, but seriously....let people take comfort in whatever way they can. Why do we have to sit here and "logically" debate whether the act was truely heroic or not? It eases the pain a bit for Mr. Woods' wife, and family, and that's what matters.
Cops, firefighters, paramedics, and soldiers aren't heroes either, right? They're just doing those jobs to get paid, get a "free ride" through college, or personal glory. Nah, it has nothing to do with saving lives, improving life in their community or defending their country.
Give me a break.... -
My buddy had his "slim" for less than a week before it crashed. Can't remember if he said it just wouldn't turn on, or if it was a RROD though. By the same token I have one of the original white ones that I got back when Halo 3 came out and have only had two issues with it, one being a RROD.
(Side note, the new rules are crap. There have been several occasions lately I've wanted to ask a video game question, or have a discussion on one and the remember "oh right, we can't do that anymore".) -
Put me down as a possibility (Knight'hawk), I just got a new job so I'll have to check my schedule. I'll make sure to set a cell phone alarm this time....
