Omg I am so sorry. I just got my pc back and up and running. my dam dog spilled a mt dew drink right into it and fried alot of it and i had to pawn alot of stuff to buy all new parts for it and took me a few days to dry and clean some parts to salvage it. but i am back and so far its running dont know for how long but for now i am back. omg i was crying. yes a grown man crying and i am not ashamed to admit it.
Thanks for the well wishes! I am out of commission for a bit but my 3 computers survived!! Two had their cmos reset but they appear to be fine. I have a water abatement company drying out the place for mucho $ Well thats what home equity lines of credit are for I guess. I can totally relate to a grown man crying thing. I have lived here 13 years and have never had water even with some hellacious rains.
I was sweating bricks because my main system had just lost its video card and I had replaced it with a brand new 5850 just last week! Woulda sucked if that went. Amazingly all 3 were plugged in and in sleep mode and I literally poured water out of them! 2 inches of water in basement.
Important safety tip though, if you have computers in basement, keep em on a table! I am going to have to reconfigure how I keep my systems down there...
