FSC, Burn and then combustion should help you with using up most the damage out of burn as after combustion they run back in. You get that slight mitigation from it as well. Not to mention its a low end cost attack and not everything runs from it.

With my Fire/Fire I can benefit from the secondary effect that is the afraid in Burn. I don't have much else that I could use in its place really. If they change it back I hope we can have a choice. I would like to have a different burn on each build.

When we first got Arachnos. I played with them alot because I like to know alot about AVs as it is part of my job.
For around 15 mins without a controller or a defender present and so no support I tanked Ghost Widow, Mako and Scirroco in melee using insps and the knowledge I was getting about their powers and in main how often they can use them. You can't just get by on Insps doing that when on SOs and I was on SOs back then and also for one Soul Storm is a detoggler because its such a high magnitude hold and something which I got hit by. Having unstoppable and mitigating the crashes I survived well enough for all that time. My unstoppable was of good recharge back then and I kind of found a nice nick of knowing when I should use it. Anyway, it wasn't a one time only feat as I did that over and over.
Most recent use of it was with Scirroco and it basically happened because I made a mistake. I was tanking using a PB for a defender but still I mitigated the crash, even the end loss, so no detoggle and survived the mistake.
Unstoppable is the only power that will get you capped to 90% to all damage types except psi and the more exotic and against soul storm and my not being fussy whats in team it is a good power to have. -
Because I can't fort the entire team I hold onto one fort for emergencies. Some player, any one of them that I can't fort could be in over their heads. I'd rather find a fort available for them asap than have to stand their and heal them as their bar goes up and down. Doing it this way I do things without losing a buff on anyone else that I am normally buffing, they will be feeling a game play of higher defense and although they should watch their own buffs many don't. People then don't go from 50 mins of higher defense to a what the hell happened there.

Congratz to Germany! Am hoping they carry on like that, it's always best to be knocked out by the team that wins the world cup and seeing that team do worse to others.

I proactive buff in the hopes that I am in a good team and barely have to heal. Sometimes it's a team where everyone seems to be doing everything they can to get themselves and eachother killed. Then I am in danger of having to heal like crazy with less time to buff. With a minimum of 1 fort on one player that one player could handle all the threat whilst others are positionally unlikely to get any damage at all or damage that they can't often mitigate out for themselves. I normally fort one person less than I can and any team that's all over the map in desperate need of a personal healbot won't see me for very long. I put up with it leveling up thinking that it was all about the heals, with the game around as long as it has been I like to think that most of the team know it's not all about the heals. I am not ranting I am just filling time cos I am bored atm.

I've never called DA end heavy but you can play it and slot it in a way that uses end in no time. A pit not to fall in but I did with Spines/Dark as it takes omg lvls to get working well

Mosts groups I see just want to have fun and most of them don't need the entire team to be super sexah revved up speed poppin superheroes for a silly mish of +3s.
Edit: Oh one more thing, for a year I used to lead the teams and so people asked me if I was making one. This was nothing to do with my setups. it was simply because they prefered someone else to make the teams. When I make teams I won't leave it till I have done about 4 missions atleast otherwise I feel I am somewhat cheating people. I am not but I like leaders to hang about for more than 2 missions atleast. -

Minimum team option is a bit naff compared to the full team option. I'd sooner 8 people anyday. All problems have a solution that doesnt require cutting people out of a chance to do or see a TF.

Different tankers and different pros and cons not only when playing them but when teaming with them too.
Gauntlet more. You have the quick recovery to do so. -

It depends on your settings and game plan. I was on +2 x6 and most of the time I can pick off mobs with pulls but sometimes I can't and need to take out half to all the group if I can. I think it can be quicker at times. In teams I don't use trips or timebomb unless a chunk off of an AV is preferred or the mass and levels of groups make the teams eyes pop out. The days of herding out the Hess TF Volcano onto tripmines and then me setting them off are gone.
Duoing with two scrappers I suppose one could set mines while they scrap a group then have them aggro cap each and come to the trips buts thats just for kicks. -

Crim the cold has got it upto 27. I don't need that much but it's probably worth it as it speeds up play alot..
On another note with Corrupters people have said it's less useful as there is no stealth in the set but there is an FFG and with the way I play Timebomb would be just as if not more useful thinkiing about it. I just set it between trips really. -
There is no point buying two End Mods from two different IO sets when the results would simply be the same as having 2 normal end mods. Keep the cost down a little. On that note I tweaked ya build alittle. I don't really look at farming builds normally as a normal tanker can farm.

All my builds are exemplarable. I don't think there is any good reason why they can't be. I had a number of people state that they would get by when talking about under rechging it and exemplared. I got haste and rechg for those levels but I think it takes 3 lvl 15 IOs to perma that power at 12 so getting it to perma is not hard but not ideal (ideal is on SOs). I think its possible bosses may of stacked effects on the tanker. Ambushes can lead to alot of minions dying and bosses hanging about.

Ambushes probably then. If it's hard then take out groups near the group at the doors. Then take out the group by the doors, take out groups that ambush, don't allow anyone in. Only Tank goes in, aggroes and comes back out, some CoT could come out with tank, team does them, rinse repeat until there is not enough immediately inside that might overwhelm the team. Go inside, take out whats left. Do doppelgangers in a sensible order.

I'd play the build so it's alright really. If you play and see a pattern or patterns in what you do then you can work out how the build will perform once slotted. You might look at some bonuses and go "well I don't really need that much of that bonus" and go for something else. I use the dummy in RWZ or maths to get my builds to a happy medium.
