It's more likely that there will be "slots" available to vet players that turn into recipes, temp powers or other items. As you say, it's unlikely that you'll buy recipes "directly" but it's "likely" you'll be able to acquire high-end loot of some kind through Paragon Points.

Remember what Arcana said in her replies, they want to make money and a store that has a cap on what it can sell isn't a good store, more or less.

Trez was the only thing holding dUmb together. Without his velvet hands on Rad and your smooth DJ voice, dUmb would have imploded long ago.

I guess the goalposts got moved, so to speak. I just hope we can get through the rest of it without too much drama/craziness. It's been pretty fun so far.

Some people thought it was meant to be a hardcore/competitive league, instead of a gradation league.

That's great if we'd known who the people in the draft were. We just found out lately that Jimmay was out there and registered but he had a different global/guildportal handle. IQ registered and said he was on previous test teams but didn't say who he/she was at any point. The only persons I recognized were doyler, Void and a couple others.

The league at this point is almost over after week one because there is an imbalance of vets/newer players that should not have occurred in the first place. What should have happened (for example) is your team should have had 3-4 people you chose then others from the draft, same with Artic's team, same with Cherry's team, etc. etc. It didn't and basically you and Artic are going to keep rolling everyone else, teams are going to drop (Spyne's team is already dropping) and basically just your team and Artic's team will be left week 2 or 3.

Not at the level there was on test in its heyday, that's for sure (and I'd never count myself among the skilled, etc.).

Just enjoy this league for what it is, a bunch of people having fun on Sundays for a few hours.

Why not just use Freedom? It's basically been the big PvP server since test has been out of the picture. No objections to ViP here at all though.

I don't know about that...I have a TON of Astrals kicking around.

My Traps Corr has 80, my Kat/Regen has 90, my Cold has close to 120.

I'd definitely trade those for 150,000,000 or 200,000,000 in some cases.
If you start from scratch, sure the tip missions are better. How many people are though? It seems for anything but the soloist the trial rewards are fairly nice.

Not sure how all of you are planning on finangling stuff, but one of my alts will buy all the costume shinies with Astrals I can early on, another alt will buy recipes and make some change (I'm back to "poor" again) while a third will just accumulate Empyreans for a PvP IO every now and then.

It is looking more and more that Reward Merits are done as an outlet to buy specific recipes and as nothing more than a random roll outlet or a conversion process to Alignment Merits.
