I've been thinking about this lately as I make some new characters and play through the low levels. Thoughts like "hmm, if stamina was inherent I'd probably take a travel power at level 6 for nearly everyone". I like ninja run a lot, but if I don't have to sweat fitting in stamina I can be a lot more profligate with my power choices. And "hmm, if stamina were inherent I'd probably throw some slots in my SR scrapper's toggles at the lower levels".
Its clearly going to change a lot of things about the lower levels, and some of them will come as a surprise. -
my level 2 marketeer The Heroic Flipper earned 3 million last week from selling his tutorial inspirations and using his three slots to flip uncommons.
Wheeee! -
When I bid creep at all I do it with recipes. Salvage, I start high and if I don't get it either leave it up and walk away, or cancel and go high enough to guarantee I get it.
I figure I save more than enough on recipes to fund whatever excesses I ladle on the salvage market. Getting a recipe that's 'worth' 100 million for 60 or 70 bankrolls a lot of BUY NAO Deific Weapons and Alchemical Silvers. -

it's not flipping if I have to close the market screen!

YOU CAN'T FORCE ME TO MULTIPLY MY EARNINGS BY TEN!

those all sound good to me.
I'm not much of a badger, but it'd be nice to not have to rotate through my stable for event and anniversay login stuff. -
it could use IH being reverted to a toggle.

next batch of screenies will be bigger, I think I forgot to un-check the 'resize' box on this bunch.

In a world where you can sell as many level 15 recharge IOs for 100k (priced to move at 25k, cost to make 7k or so) as you bother to list I'm ready to declare bid creeping a lost art. =P

loved her back in the day when she was on that LA station. Movie Macabre and Fangoria magazine saw me through some rough times in my youth.

Quote:In reality the 'cheap' sets are slottable by fewer players, hence less desirable, hence well supplied on the market, hence cheaper.Perhaps a sample size of two isnt all that many, I will grant you that. I therefore turn to the market, consisting of tens of thousands of players, where things such as Fortunata Hypnosises and Unbreakable Constraints are selling for considerably less than many more desireable sets. Now why might that be? Perhaps we shall never know, but my guess is because these sets really do fall like rain for a considerable number of people.
I'm continually befuddled by the wild explanations people cook up to explain basic textbook market forces. This stuff just isn't that complicated. -

Quote:what you, or I, or any individual observes regarding purple drops is pretty much meaningless. The essence of "random drops" is that each thing in the given class has an equal chance to drop. This has been the opposite of what I've observed to be happening.
I've gone months without a purple drop. The Goat got two Apocalypses on the same mission one time. Neither of those 'means' anything with regards to the supply of purples in the game.
Random means random, and that means you might get 5 of the same 'junk' purple in a row and then not see another one for two years.

I've never seen any of his shows, but his first cookbook (I think it's just titled The Naked Chef) has defended its spot on my shelf of cookbooks for several years now. I'll check this one out!
