Hm, there is a certain appropriate level of irony in Adam West playing old Bruce in a Batman Beyond movie....., that would be interesting but seeing all the nods and easter egg tributes to his old series might wear thin pretty quick.

Well see that's the thing, get a director and cast that are fans of the anime and actually "get it" as far as the characters go and you just might have a winner. Or you could have a stinker like the following live actions:

1. Dragonball

2. Fist of the Northstar

3. the live action 8-Man: it wasn't as bad as the above two but still weak. I always snicker at people that watch it and think it's a poor excuse for Robocop when the character predates Robocop considerably and was part of the inspiration for Robocop.

4. Perhaps the worst live action anime ever: the first Guyver movie. Poor cast, poor direction, weak adaptation, weak budget.....and J.J. from Good Times as a rapping zoanoid.....egad......

Problem with this badge is that a stone tank can activate the costume power and still use granite without the costume turning off, but a Kheldian cannot transform to squid or dwarf mode as that will turn off the power.

Judging by what Tony is doing in the trailer and his comment about not playing well with others, I'm going to guess that he won't be suiting up as Iron Man and joining them in battle until AFTER Loki and Stark have their little chat which appears to culminate in Loki tossing Stark through the window. He'll survive somehow and then suit up.

His response to Steve's comment about what's left after taking away the Iron Mar armor, and his greeting of Bruce Banner were priceless.

Hawkeye did start off a bit misunderstood yes. But this appears to be more or less the Ultimate version of Hawkeye, which is fine.

As to no mask for Hawkeye, unless he wears a full head piece/mask like Cap does then it wouldn't do much good.

In the last episode of DS9....or near to last episode I forget which, didn't Quark think that he was going to again be named the new Grand Nagus, only to have it be his brother who was something of a moderate-reformist in terms of Ferengi philosophy become the new Grand Nagus, and that their mother was dating with Nagus? Didn't Quark immediately order a price increase to all drinks as well as watering them down and that "the line must be drawn here" against the impending changes that his brother would implement?

If these changes have occurred and the Ferengi are more...moderate...in their pursuit of wealth, among other society changes, then perhaps they could become a rival to the Federation.

Their technology isn't too far below the Federation, but as Ryker observed in the early TNG episode when he spoke with the alien that trapped their ships, the Ferengi lack the wisdom and discipline that the Federation has.

To me the more preferable option would be the Romulans, but I suppose that isn't possible now.

Blood and gore sell comics. If I were writing Wolverine, yeah he'd be getting cut up and banged up at times, but I'd also be depicting a lot more of his combat skills and how he truly is one of the best fighters in the MU.

Strictly speaking I would consider Wolverine's skills to be on par with Shang Chi, the Master of Kung Fu or that of Iron Fist. Note I said "on par" as in equal or near equal, however Wolverine's indestructible skeleton and healing power will tilt the odds back in his favor. Also punching or kicking Wolverine should hurt the attacker given the skeleton he has, and his skeleton and healing power should help resist damage from the iron fist attack.

Well there have been some scenes of him using it, such as his final sparring session with Shang Chi, the master of kung fu who helped train him and develop this art, then he again has a sparring match with the current Madame Web. Then comes the current Spider Island garbage that is in the book and Peter and his current girlfriend are confronted by some super villains that are spider powered including the spider sense. They are losing the fight until Peter turns into Neo from the Matrix and unleashes his new "Way of the Spider" upon them. His girlfriend is left speechless and wants to know how he did that, but Peter lamely evades the issue.

Note: Peter is not dressed as Spiderman for this as there are a bunch of spider powered punks running around in versions of all his costumes thanks to the Jackal. So Peter decides to stay out of his costume and claim to one and all that he too just received spider powers. His girlfriend and boss at his job believe that Peter is Spiderman's "Q" as it were and that Peter helps create and develop Spiderman's hardware, and thanks to the psychic blindspot that is in place thanks to the mindwipe of Peter's Unmasking no one can figure out that he is Spidey.

I like that Peter is finally wising up a bit and using his intellect and that he is developing ways to compensate for the current loss of his spider sense, but the whole Unmasking/mindwipe junk.....ugh....
