  1. i also dislike speeding things, which is one of the reasons i also dislike trials is cause they feel too rushed

    i enjoy mass killing baddies with friends but not focusing on completing a mish within like 2 minutes, i do occasionally up the difficulty for some challenge and i do also enjoy running small team task forces with friends for the challenge as well

  2. finally got avoids the green stuff and hence the master badge last night, took us like 25-30 attempts at avoids the green stuff to get it

    for some odd reason we have 0 issues getting loves a challenge, but avoids the green stuff was just freaking painful lol

    are you gonna be doing this strictly heroside or going rogue/vigilante for access to the other side? some defeat badges are much easier to get redside ssuch as arachno and toxic tarantulas

    one problem though with this on mm and troller is the untouchable effect does not happen automatically and just last night i was killed while using rise of the pheonix on my mm, i literally clicked the power and before i even stood halfway up a stupid vickie warworks 1 shot me back to dead again
  7. im fairly sure the debuff duration is about 5 or 6 seconds

    its not too hard to keep 2-3 of the debuff stacked, but because the debuff values are so small and are resistable, its just not worth it

    iirc, the debuff values are:

    -dmg = -5%
    -def = -5%
    -tohit = -5%
    -regen = -15%
    -resist = -2.5%
    slow = -5%
    -special = -5%

    if you throw any of these at an AV a large majority of them will be resisted into nothing, the few exceptions being -special (there is no resistance for it) and -dmg/-resist (resisted by dmg resist)
  8. it sounds sort of like a tweaked MA set with the combo system that DB uses

    i honestly dont like the combo system DB uses, its ok, but i dont like hitting my powers in a specific order for maximum effectiveness, i prefer it to be a little more random and depend on the situation

    i do like the look that it would have more AoE than MA since that set is suffering AoE dmg output
  9. i pretty much only choose reactive for interface because the debuffs on the other stuff is negligible vs strong targets (such as GMs and AVs due to debuff resists) and is not super useful vs weaker targets (like normal mobs of minion to boss)

    if the debuffs from the other interfaces were unresistable, then i would reconsider my options but until then i am strictly going with reactive
  10. on victory we got loves a challenge tonight, it took us 2 attempts to get that one

    we prolly tried about 8+ attempts for avoids the green stuff but been having awful luck with it, theres always someone not paying attention or just plain unlucky timing by getting the time freeze exact same time as the beam
  11. i was wondering the same thing myself why they dont use actual powers that they have normally

    i know a few of the support mobs got some extra powers to balance them, but at least it was mostly support pets (healing aoe with the nemesis support for example)

    this change just didnt seem right to me as storm elementals already have their own attacks and i was very confused at first why they were given elec blast

    MP led a few attempts at loves a challenge last night and it was actually a LOT easier to get than the green stuff badge

    we only failed it last night because someone got hit by an aoe right after the last tick of disintegration

So, got my emote - TYVM and now the account is set for perma-delete in 14 days. At least until the next time I have to create a throwaway FB. Next time I have to do this I'll use _no_ real info and a hotmail acct or something, but sheesh, throwaway emails are one reason I have a domain.
    this is exactly why i refuse to use facebook (the privacy issues and whatnot)

    i wont ever make a facebook account for any reason whatsoever
  14. yeah i don't like that it requires a facebook account, i refuse to use facebook so i guess ill just wait till its in the store and i can use my monthly point stipend to pay for it

    the rules of the contest and whatnot were in the link DR posted, so that part is done

    on the rules page it says that the contest starts 9 am CST july 21 (not sure what time that is for eastern) but it sounds like it should have been started by now
  16. i personally hate looking for pads to start a tf small team or solo

    it almost wont matter though cause when freedom hits i plan on getting a few free accounts for buff/debuff bots which can also be used as pads
  17. ive been playing on victory for about 5 years now and not really had any trouble forming anything

    i do with there were some alternate methods to getting the incarnate stuff because i despise the lag in the trials and how it screws you over if you dc because of said lag

  19. the GR enhances are the preorder ones that you got if you preordered GR from gamestop when they had that deal

    honestly they are quite worthless post lvl 20, pre lvl 20 they do help a little though

    lower tiers of the reward system do not have buying rights only selling rights, actually they cant even trade with anyone until tier 2 and they cant even sell on the market until tier 4

    i actually did not see anything on the slides in that thread about buying on the market in any tier so until i see dev comment im gonna assume that buying on the market is a VIP only thing

    those respecs do stack btw, i usually claim all of them on my toons so they have like 4 respecs just sitting around when i want to use them

    you shouldnt lose anything though, but my above point will prolly make things easier to just claim everything lol

    the only respecs that do not stack are freespecs given out with issues for major power changes
  23. hoarfrost is not really worth it, hibernate is a better power to use than that

    the other powers you are taking are good though
  24. all of this definitely sounds a LOT better than the current vet system

    im guessing as a 5 year vet i should have around 15-20 of the rewards points when this is released
  25. killing marauder is not too bad without the nades just tedious, and usually victory is determined by how well you can dmg him during his unstop

    if you have a lot of psi dmg in forms of pets and/or players then you can still do decent dmg while he is 100% resist to all dmg except for psi
