Just got myself some Storm Elementals Lore pets...and what the heck?

So like I said, I just got some the Storm Elemental pet powers from Lore, and I'm very confused. They just use generic Electrical Blast/Storm Summoning FX for their powers. Unlike (sadly) a lot of players these days, I've actually fought these things for real, and I know they have actual, unique FX for ranged attacks, targeted AoEs, and PBAoEs. As in, all the kinds of attacks the offense pets actually use. So why are they using color-inappropriate generic Elec Blast FX instead?

And the support pet: now, I know a support Storm Elemental doesn't actually exist in the real Storm Elementals group, so they don't have any FX to call upon. But couldn't they have at least utilized that power customization system they spent like a year and a half making so its Hurricane and O2 Boost didn't clash with the rest of the NPC?

In short, I'm really surprised at how lazy this Lore pool is.

Glad to know now. I was going to make another and have it be Elementals, they have really sweet looking blasts, or should have.

i was wondering the same thing myself why they dont use actual powers that they have normally

i know a few of the support mobs got some extra powers to balance them, but at least it was mostly support pets (healing aoe with the nemesis support for example)

this change just didnt seem right to me as storm elementals already have their own attacks and i was very confused at first why they were given elec blast

I was gonna complain about this in a different thread, but I figured this one works too.

I know the Robotic Drones are supposed to work with a lot of concepts, so they're small and generic. Unfortunately, they're too small and don't fit with any of my concepts, because in all of them the lasers actually come from the robots.

funny enough, I'm planning to take the Storm elementals much faster in part BECAUSE they're not exactly the rularuu storm elementals.

Agreed to both of those. I want those cool ionic blasts and properly aligned plasma blasts with working sounds.

If you haven't noticed yet, I hate the sounds of Elec Blast, and would trade them for Mu or Ionic any second.
