  1. after doing a repair and verify it seems to only partially helped as it still seems to pop up now and then

    the corrupt pigg files that usually cause my game to crash are any type of various character model pieces

    some examples that popped up (nothing has popped up more than once):
    • marauders gloves
    • escapee boots
    • random player chest emblems
    • textures of some kind which appear on NPC/player models

    as ive mentioned ive never had the same corrupt file twice ever, even though ive prolly had a dozen or more corrupt file messages since i20 release, i just restart the game and it usually runs fine with no clue why the texture was declared corrupt to crash the game (except in the case of marauders gloves because it was during the cutscene and his glove pieces were completely missing as the message popped up)

    the odd thing about it though is that its never the same thing twice and after restarting the game it seemed to clear up whatever issue it was having
  2. 1. alpha - lvl shift every where plus plugging minor holes in a toons build

    2. judgement - nuke on every toon with no crash? yes plz

    3. destiny - very similar to alpha that it can plug more holes in a toon, but the lvl shift is not global and this only making this rank 3

    4. lore - i really really like lore, but i really HATE how long it takes to rech, +rech and lore will move up almost to where judgement is

    5. interface - interface seems like a good idea, but in reality is awful aside from the DOT, all the debuffs do negligible amounts of debuff because they are resistable and can barely stack at all, the only thing going for this slot atm is the DoT cause its brokenly awesome on dmg patches lol
  3. one of the devs commented on the interface and said that we couldnt color it due to technical limitations and because it is an auto power
  4. the +resist thats in the auto powers is also flagged to be unaffected by enhances as well, so even if it would be slotted it would not have an effect anyway

    overall what Schismatrix said is much simpler answer lol
  5. there are no animation stuff for interface because they dont have the tech for it

    yes you do have to slot the power first but to get a tier 1 takes maybe 2-3 trial runs at most and its not like its permanent and can be unslotted

    the only thing that you can really do with lore is change the color of the summon animation, you cant actually change the animation (and its the same for all pets)

    i personally prefer to use the numbers as a basis for my decisions and just tweak the colors of the animation to fit my toon, but if your going with animation then just slotting a single tier 1 will let you see them all and if you dont want the tree of the tier 1 you used to see animations its not too huge a deal to just forget about it since tier 1s are easy to come by
  6. they are supposed to be enabled for trials along with all other temp travel powers

    the flickering is due to a bug
  7. the mini pet looks awesome, but i wish it was actually a combat pet, i could care less if it was weak, just wishing it could be useful instead of just eye candy
  8. if you have ANY of the boosts slotted you can just go to the tailer and look at all the animations of any power in the slot even if you never crafted anything in the other 3 trees

    that goes for anything in lore, judgement, or destiny

    from what i know about being on victory is that it is the unofficial european server

    ive noticed that a lot too after playing on victory for 57 months lol

    im usually on at random hours or late night and i have a decent sg if you wanted to send a tell my way for team ups

    edit: to answer the OP question, i most likely will not make toons off-server, but i might transfer a toon there for the passport badge when/if they decide what to do with it lol

    if you slot KB enhance into a power with KB it will increase the mag of that KB, you can easily make force bolt a mag 50ish KB with ED cap knockback enhance

    this however does not work on powers which have knockup, knockup powers can accept KB enhances but the KB enhance does not appear to actually enhance anything, as with the example i used in lift, its ~8 mag knockup but even slotted ED cap for KB that number wont change (it does change in mids, but it does not appear to change in game)

    edit: to answer your question, yes a force bolt ED capped for KB enhance can Knockdown most AVs unless they have like mag 100 KB protect
  11. ive gotten the random corrupt pigg file on about half a dozen different things

    i have not tried doing a -verify yet, i did try a repair/consistency check once but it did not seem to help

    when i am home later i will attempt to do a verify and repair again
  12. ive noticed those in the list for a few months now, not really sure why they were there but i rarely use emotes anyway so i didnt think of it
  13. its been unlocked on US servers for awhile now, some poeple had trouble getting it cause it sometimes required relogging to get, it doesnt make any kind of noticeable award message either, best way is to check badges for "the constant" badge
  14. i dont usually pay attention to taunt most of the times, the only time i notice a difference is for model size

    theres different taunt sounts for male, huge, and female models

  16. as to base raids no im not interested

    i do kinda wish they did bring back original IoPs since they still provide a benefit to the SG and give poeple more of a reason to do a CoP trial

    i do also think the CoP should like actually give drops, 0 rewards of any kind except a fairly modest inf bonus at the end + reward table gives me no incentive to try to form these things up
  17. the only side specific badges i can think of are day jobs and a few of the alignment related badges

    the respec badges can be earned as a rogue

    i think you might have to be a hero or vigilante to get the villain RV AVs

    yeah, im prolly biased towards brutes, but i would rather have the higher caps than a slight modifier increase

    75% resist and 90% resist is a huge surviveability difference

  23. i would go with a brute hands down, higher resist and dmg caps

    scrappers top out at 75% resist while brutes can get up to 90% and brutes dmg cap is 650% while scrapper is only 300%

    scrapper crits are nice, but i much prefer brutes due to the rising dmg output due to fury + higher dmg resist caps
  24. as title says, those temp powers are grey'd out in ouroboros now, im assuming it has something to do with the borking of the temps in the trials too

    if you find others which are grey'd out can list them
  25. just did a quick check of my arcs and my story arc appears to be broken

    when i go to start it and hit accept, then nothing happens

    the arc ID is 366083, when i tried editing it, there were no apparent errors

    i have checked a few of my other arcs and one which has a ton of named AVs in it is not borked (and it has statesman, recluse, honoree, and numerous other CoH names in it)
