all i have to say about this is "hell yes"

being able to see rularuu the ravager in person would be a good closing note for me as that is one thing i have never been able to see

my last bill date was aug 25th about 1 week before the first shutdown notice

my next bill date would have been nov 25th, so i just cancelled my sub

my family has been pretty supportive of me so far, my parents (neither of which are gamers and always thought it was just a game) are at least being there for me, every time they have told me it was "just a game" i almost always got angry with them about it, i always said i was playing with poeple

this game is a social network for me, and without it i dont know what ill do, i despise FB too much to use them so ill prolly just stick to steam/skype in terms of socializing

i originally started playing on victory cause thats where my friend who got me into the game started playing, soon after i started playing he quit but i maintained the sg which eventually became my sg. after 4 years of playing i got my sg base to a point which had everything possible in it so i started to dabble with the base design here and there and after 6 years i feel my base is still not completely finished as i have not yet filled every last spot with something useful or fancy looking.

the people on victory have been there for me since i started playing when i was 17, victory saw me finish high school, get a girl friend, and graduate from college. victory has also seen me through some rough times too such as breaking up with girlfriend, and one of my grandparents passing away. victory has been a second home and second family to me for the past 6 years and i would miss you all greatly.

victory to me has been about believing to achieve reaching for the stars and ending with victory no matter the dire circumstances. yesterday we received news of the most dire of circumstances and together i believe that if we stand together we all shall turn out a victory (and yes even those of you not on victory )

i think the only thing i really wanted to do aside from continue pimping out my toons is solo the LRSF again now that statesman is dead and sister was replaced with penny, so much analysis on whats the best plan of attack or if its easier

im gonna freakin miss this game and all of you guys on victory

its continuing to climb as well, i think within another few days it will reach 10,000 signs, it could prolly be even higher since it will prolly go for awhile since shutdown is 3 months away

the most painful thing i have ever done with this game so far was cancelling my VIP status today

i checked my billing and my 3 month bill cycle was renewed on augaust 25th and will expire on november 25th, if ncsoft does not keep the lights on then i will have to be non VIP for those last 5 days till doomsday

the funny thing was when i cancelled it popped up a survey asking why i was cancelling my VIP account, in places that asked me about what i wanted to see in the game in the "other" section i wrote "not seeing the game shut down" and in my comments section at the end i wrote a good 2 paragraphs of about why i didnt want to see this game shut down and they lost a loyal customer if they support shutting the game down

honestly this was the most painful thing i have ever had to do, it took about 30 min to decide if i should or not, but i decided to go ahead and do it, it felt like i was pulling a friend off of life support

my sister is actually gonna be going to school to be a professional artist, im gonna try to talk her into drawing a few of my characters

i would do screenshots but they just wouldnt be awesome enough

im sure as hell not getting anything ncsoft related after this

im not getting into any other mmos for the time being either, it just wont be a good coh replacement

i will prolly be playing more of the games i have on steam, but this is the one and only mmo i would ever really spend money on

yesterday i almost cried about 3 times, last night i couldnt sleep well at all, and ive been very depressed all day today

the poeple i work with could tell that something was up too, and i explained what happened to the poeple that asked

if anyone wants we should make a victory badges steam group for the group chat, it would be like victory badges but without coh (sadly)

CO would be the only thing i would consider as a full coh replacement, but it still wouldnt be anywhere near the same

im prolly just not gonna play mmos for awhile and just play some of the 500ish games i have on steam i havent gotten to since i played coh...

arcana kind of hit the nail on the head with how i feel about this

the only thing im definitely boycotting is any ncsoft product

im trying not to do that, im hoping all of the activism being generated will pull through to keep the game alive

im tempted of donating to the titan network guys next week, giving them all the support i can possibly give to make this reality (saying next week as i need to wait for next payday)

i am willing to do whatever it takes to keep this game going

if tony isnt able to get a kickstarter going this is 2nd best option i would like to see

3rd would be private server

you guys were IMO the best devs ive ever had the pleasure of interacting with

you always did stuff for the community and were very active on the forums

i still have hope that we will be able to find a way to keep this game alive one way or another

my main is up to about 4950 hours logged in

many of my other toons range from 200-800+ hours

all in all if i were to calculate it out i say i spent about a solid year logged into coh as one various toon or another (if it was all added up)

awesome tony, i give you my full support when you get more details on this

ive been adding as many of my friends and other poeple on skype/steam for communication after the lights get shut off, although i am willing to support anything that will help keep the lights on
