Shouldn't he still get a free month from the GvE code? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he can use the free month before it requires a time card or CC.

The other way is to start a trial acct. Then upgrade that using the code but you may still need a CC or time card to continue.

Try this: start over from scratch... Leave the game alone, go to NCsoft account page from the beginning. Use the code you have to open a NEW account. Pretend you are brand new to the game and you need to use the code to get started.

You should not be able to log in to the site until you set up your new account. DO NOT try to set up a secondary one under your brother's. I just tried going to mine and the site seems to be very slow.. maybe there is something going on that is preventing you from getting your code validated.

Your account code has nothing to do with the install. You need to create a new account for yourself, then use the game program already installed with the new account name and password.

All GvE has over the basic Install is some bonus items such as the pocket d teleporter.

To clarify: Step 1 create new account with code. (IF code does not work try refreshing browser, double-check code, or send a support ticket.)
Step 2 use said new account username and password to start game on EXISTING game in your bro's pc.

I have a Nrg/Dark and it's also a lot of fun to play in teams.

Nothing like hitting howling twilight after 7 teammates wipe and they all rez at the same time as you Nova the aggro off.

Don't they just use the search function? Seems like an easier way to get names since there is no actual player movement involved.

And I know the search function won't show you people using /hide or /ghide.

There's also a spending limit per account but all 3 packs dont come up to the $100 daily limit or whatever it is.

I think you may need a EU subscription code to access the EU servers.
Did you set up your acct. in the US or overseas?

Playing on my fire/therm corr last night in a full AE team.

After using Rain of Fire there was no visible fire falling from the sky.
It was happening all night. Virtue.

If you do make sure to get stamina it has helped in my experience.

I also ended up making two simultaneous builds, one dmg focused and one team focused and both have been fun.

I have a 34 elec/pain and a 39 fire/pain.

So far the fire corr has been more fun.

Yes, I believe the name of said stalker was Who.

The fix for Vista is to make sure you run Ventrilo on Administrator.

To do this, start with right-clicking on the Ventrilo shortcut on your desktop.
Next step is to go down to where it says "Run as Administrator" and click that option.

Your PTT should work in-game after that.

You should be fine.

I wanted to add something to say to the OP.

I have a 26 fire/therm myself with SOs in all my slots.
Instead of waiting till I had all the infamy required to get them I started running some AE arcs.

So SOs at my lvl are 75 tickets each and with a few runs with a team I was able to get over 2k in tickets allowing me to save my inf for other stuff and just use the ticket vendor for enh.
