Yes, apperently the species was a hive mentality species, and their queen/leadership group was killed before the crash. From the Word of God on an interview.

So all the aliens acting like they did? They really WERE little more than hive-minded bugs. Reacting for the moment, not planning things out long-term.

So does this mean humans were right in treating them poorly? No idea.

Did Chris change into a leadership position? (Like some insects do when their queen is killed?) Who knows...

Na, I shouldn't be in the beta.

I got a fulltime job now, and my goof-off time is very important to me. I'd rather stay in the live server to advance there... I mean, it's cool that we have customization with powers, but I'd only do it once or twice and swap back to my live account.

It's a shame CO doesn't let players use the Champions ruleset to make their own powers.

Mind you, I've played Champions...so I know just how much you can abuse the system.

I'm rather frustrated with all the costume codes that CoH is giving out now.

I went to every NCSoft event in Texas for 4 and a half years, and they only start doing this for the other events after that. Figures.

For some reason, the new forums do not see the transparency in the GIF image I wanted to use for my Avatar.

I know that vBulletin can do it, as the forum I normally frequent uses it as well, and it works perfectly there.


Is there something I can do, or is this a small hick-up in the code?

Is there a way to allow us the option to choose what the default load page is?

I know that you can do it inside vBulletin, but it may not be a default ability. Is it currently enabled and I missed the option, or can someone activate it?


The reason I am asking is that I would like to have the English sub-folder be what automatically opens when I log into the forum.

I honestly don't see any problem with EA being the way it is.

YES, it needs tweaking. It's got some holes, and there are still some balancing problems.
But is it broken? I don't feel like it is.

Hell, we have the only stealth power that stays active in combat. That's very useful for picking our fights. Think Tactical Missile instead of Carpet Bomb. It plays differently than other brute sets, which is part of the problem.

Why is my latest character a Magic Origin?


Well, to be honest I couldn't see someone who was kidnapped by the Fae to be anything else.


My half-demon evil magic schoolgirl was a Natural, since her powers were just ...well, her natural powers.

Tech suit, robotics... I don't see magic as being anything special.
