    Arch/Mental Blaster and Plant/Rad Controller.

At least if you want to dual-box a Posi TF.

At the moment, rewards are significantly better in AE than in regular content

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not so sure about that. A good task force team is tough to beat.

Gotta love closed restrictive operating systems and hardware.

Can't give specifics, but combat jumping, Blessing of the Zephyrs, Red Fortune, Mako's, and Touch of Death are on the list of things I use to get there. I'm over 50% on ranged, at 43.99% on melee, and 42.74% on AoE in my early 40s on my DM/SR. I could get higher with some re-arranging of powers or IOs, but that's close enough that I rarely am in danger. Of course, the extra -tohit that I get from my attacks may be the difference.

[/ QUOTE ] Why so much ranged? Why not lower that to 45-46% and substitute in some more melee or AoE?

Knockback is only ever a burden if an enemy flies into the next mob and causes double aggro

just have the tanker Taunt them back otherwise

    [/ QUOTE ]

Aggro does not work that way. The only time a mob knocked into another mob will draw additional aggro is if someone chases said mob down and pulls aggro by being near the second spawn.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Or if the enemy that's knocked back is an anchor for a debuff toggle. I know I just love looking up to see a horde of +4 bosses charging at me because the Energy blaster hurled my Enervating Field anchor into a mob on the floor below.

[/ QUOTE ] It happens. Targets generally die so fast that I don't pay attention to which particular enemy has a toggle on it.

I did the ITF, Sister Psyche and Bastion,

[/ QUOTE ] It's good to know that I'm not the only one that still calls it Bastion from time to time after all these years.
  7. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE RED LETTTERS!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  8. I can understand that, depending on what your goals are when you play. At this point my favorite thing to do is tweak my builds to get max performance. If it weren't for IOs, I can say without a doubt I would have quit the game for good around I9, give or take a few months.

Ah, we all know they've been working on it for months now, Positron keeps dropping hints about it.

[/ QUOTE ] That would be awesome.

BTW, last mission of all red respecs is the same as 3rd mission of STF, nothing special about it.

[/ QUOTE ] Except that it's really lame...
  11. I need to get a brute up to that level, I still haven't done the LRSF.
  12. Can you sit in the hospital zone for the five hours?
  13. I think NCSoft selling influence would be one of the only(if not the only) thing that would get me to immediately quit the game. I wouldn't be able to compete financially, and the massive inflation that would occur would put IOs out of my reach. To me, IOs are the single best thing that ever happened to the game.

Thank for the info and so you know im my scrapper is DM/FA.

[/ QUOTE ] Question, do you plan on running the ITF a lot? If not, you can safely lose 3% of that defense and not miss it most of the time. If you run the ITF a lot then the extra defense might do you some good, although since you don't have any defense debuff resistance cascading defense failure is likely.

One last sorta curious/irritrating question. If I want to focus a bit on survivability/letting myself settle in in the 40s. Would throwing two extra slots in tough help with the few rare hits that get through? Since smashing/lethal tends to make up for the fact it's commonly mitigiated by being heavy and spikey.

And again, much thanks for the advice.

[/ QUOTE ] As long as your endurance bar can afford to run tough all the time, then yes it is worth slotting.

    Dm question

What if you stuck it in Soul Drain?

Knockback's disadvantages are waaay overstated by many players. For example, I was once Crane-Kicking one foe in a group, following him, and killing him in one or two more hits, but you should have seen the complaints that I was hurting the team's AoEs. It was only ONE guy and I was killing him just as fast as the AoEs finished, but you'd have thought I was nerfing regen by killing baby kittens if you'd seen the chat.If I hadn't used crane Kick, my one target would have stayed in the spawn and been AoE'd to death at...pretty much exactly the same speed were were killing them anyway.

[/ QUOTE ] Those were idiot players. You should have pulled a bunch of extra mobs and caused a teamwipe. They deserved it so much that it wouldn't be considered griefing.
  18. I don't know anything about Guild Wars(played for a month when it first came out), so I just picked something I like from the suggestion. Kinda like the line item veto, but just the opposite.
  19. /signed to being able to email stuff to other characters on your account. I love the idea.
  20. Cool, thanks for indulging my curiosity. I think I'm caught up now.

So you're saying something can't have a value if the government says so? I wanna make sure I'm understanding you correctly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, I'm saying that something can't have government recognized and, thus, taxable value unless the transactions giving it value are legal.

[/ QUOTE ] But wasn't Al Capone convicted of tax evasion because of his illegal businesses(alcohol)?

The best way would be to set the default level to whatever level the SG Leader sets for Edit Base; this will ensure that the person who can add a Storage to the base can also use it.
It is a very nice QoL improvement for SG's that makes so much sense.
Simple.. If you can place it... you should be able to use it.

[/ QUOTE ] What about the people that like it as is? I don't see why you can't just change the permissions for the base. You know, using the tools you have now.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As indicated the tools are lacking, someone who have permission to edit the base and thereby add storage units but at the same time there is no way (other than changing the hierarchy of permissions) to change the default level of the storage units. So if someone who does not have the rank to use the storage but does have the rank to edit the base creates a storage unit, they cannot use the storage unit.
If the people who can change the permissions are gone for awhile it means that nobody can use the storage units.
This is poor design. My suggestion is to set the default to the Edit Base permission level, if you have the permission to edit the base to add storage units then you have the ability to use the storage units you added.

[/ QUOTE ] What if the leader doesn't want the base editor to be able to take from storage?
