Quote:This.I'll start using them when the devs change them to be account based storage for enhancements, recipes, inspirations and inf.
Or one could argue there is absolutely no point in making people jump through hoops. -

At a first glance I see no downside to this, so I'm all for it.

I'm all for this suggestion. It allows me to play the way I want to play, while at the same time not hurting anybody else.
Task Force teams will still form. It's that simple. A lot of people like teaming, and will continue to form teams. A lot of people won't be able to solo the Task Forces and will still team.
I don't see how this hurts anyone to be able to solo a TF. If you can't do it with one of your characters, either get better at the game, pick a build that can do it, or invest the influence to make your build better.
There is no logical reason not to allow this.
Besides, by allowing people easier access to soloing task forces, it will keep people that don't like teaming off your team and still allow them access to rewards. That is good for everybody. -

Good to see the ability to mail stuff to yourself is on the table. This should have been added years ago.
The fact that you can jump through hoops to transfer stuff and characters can easily be self supporting isn't relevant. -
Quote:There is no way WoW should be on that list. With the population it is maintaining there is no good reason to remake it. You call it bias, I call it common sense. The main argument in the artical seems to be a sequel should be made because the game is 5 and half years old. Thats it.
Wonder why WoW isn't on the list. -

I got a 100. The question asking what power doesn't lower defense almost got me, I saw Lingering Radiation and thought radiation equals defense debuff.

Quote:I agree, although wouldn't setting it to -0x8 be a more efficient way to farm for drops?I do strongly suspect that purples will drop significantly in price, back down to the pre-AE prices or perhaps even lower. It is now trivial for 50s to set up +0x8 "farms" from every mission. I don't know much about the drop rate bug and fix, but it sounds like it affected purples and will be fixed "soon". So for everyone that wanted the purple prices to drop, it's probably about to happen or is happening already.
Great post, Doc. -
That's what I'm about to do. I'm feeling burnt out. It also helps that I'm about to lose access to a computer that can run the game for 2-4 weeks, though I would take the break anyways. I'll still be on the forums though because I want to stay subscribed for that beta spot.

Gratz.
Although I still don't like you. -
Welcome to the club. I sent you a bottle of Bombay Sapphire but you only accept mail from friends and SG so it was returned to me. I drank it.

Qustion(I don't think this has been asked yet, if so my bad):
Could this bug have the opposite effect? Meaning instead of a bad drop rate like most of yall have seen, could it increase somebody's drop rate?
My roommate has been getting drops out of this world. Now he has been soloing 8 man Battle Maidens, so that could easily explain it(or maybe it's both). -

Also, MunkiLord doesn't think Sam is too negative. -

Quote:If you're going for the "good" IO set bonuses then start bidding early because it can take a while(lack of supply at that level) and/or be expensive to get level 33 IO sets.Everyone has the right to do their builds whatever way they want but I actually attempt to make my builds exemplar friendly. I do my best to even retain as many set bonuses as I can by level 35, recent SK rules means I may go further and keep stuff all the way to 30 if I keep up the same approach.
Side advantage of this is that I get to start my IOing relatively early with lower cost IOs.
Despite this I still did not Exemp down unless I had to help some one. It was mostly about the XP, though, I always felt I may as well be leveling up a different character. I rarely play my 50s once they get there, rarely aim for much IOing at that point. -
Quote:A couple things:I have a LONG history of forming and leading my own PuGs, usually with TFs but sometimes on just mission teams. And I always send a polite /tell with all the pertinent details. This has become a common part of my gaming experience.
I've learned that level 50 heroes just LOVE to team no matter WHAT they are doing and no matter what level they have to exemplar to. They just love to be doing SOMETHING other than sitting around. I found this out after forming a few TFs and getting tells from level 50 friends of those already on my team asking if they can join.
After running a few TFs with a mix of people at varying levels, I've also gotten used to sidekicking/exemplaring people quickly after team formation.
So I've decided to try out the new super-sidekicking system the other day for the first time because hey it should make it THAT much easier, right? I start sending out my tells and inviting people around my level or lower first and then level 50s next.
Well I run across something strange...
For the first time level 50s are sending me response /tells saying no with the SPECIFIC reason that they "don't have access to all their powers" at that level. So basically, as I call it, level 50 snobbery.
But this is new... I've been forming and leading PuG teams for about a YEAR now and never ran into this "problem" until just this last week. All the 50s that actually responded to me in the past just LOVED getting invites doing anything, because they make the same influence no matter what level they fight at.
Has anyone else seen this "snobbery"? Anyone have any clue where it's come from? Because I'd never seen it before I16.
1. You say you have a LONG history of forming and leading your own pick up groups. A year isn't a LONG history by any stretch of the imagination.
2. It's not snobbery if they don't wanna exemp down. Perhaps you're just a little arrogant to expect them to just because you asked.
3. Maybe they are just coming up with an excuse because they don't want to team with you. -
Drop rates have been better than ever for my roommate and me.
