The OP asked a valid question, something I also wondered. Assuming the new content is still balanced around SOs in addition to the Alpha Slot, wondering how difficult it really is makes sense. Because a fully IO'd out character will still be more powerful than a character slotted with SOs and the Alpha Slot.

I'm looking forward to it, I'm hoping it is stupid hard. I'm very optimistic too. So hopefully Tuesday I get to try it out on live.

If someone can't do the task, I see nothing wrong with them not getting a badge.

This hardly a doom thread. A question was asked. Though I suppose this could turn into a doom thread depending on who gets involved.

Between Ninja Run and the Raptor Pack I never take a travel power anymore unless it fits a very specific need or theme. My /SR scrapper will keep SS just because his thing is running fast, so the speed cap is important.

So between Ninja Run, Raptor Pack, and Fitness inherent, my characters have essentially received five new power picks each over the last few months!

I think these changes will actually lead to more variety. Sure more and more people have Fitness and Raptor Packs now, but that allows for greater variety in builds.

There are so many different ways I can try to build my DM/SR Scrapper now because of those changes(and the Alpha Slot) that I don't see characters losing their uniqueness.

I'm just stomping my feet because I want it all now. We did wait several more months and now I don't get those delicious top end bonuses for more months.

Now I'm torn on if I want to respec my builds to maximize what we have available now or use incomplete builds waiting for the rest of the Alpha Slot bonus to come at a later time.

Now in all fairness if you are getting 'ripped off' it is because you're bidding wrong. Plan ahead, place low bids, be patient and you'll get the salvage you want at a reasonable price.

Having the money is one thing, having the time to go is another.

Back when AE first hit the Rikti Comm Officer exploit was the big thing. Some people were getting from 1-50 in a couple hours. From what I have gathered some of the worst offenders had those characters XP removed or taken away. Not sure of the specifics or of any specific person this happened too.

From what I understand that was only done to the 'worst' offenders and was rare. Now this is all speculation from the boards, so there is not telling how accurate it is. But considering Posi's rant on the subject the rumors do seem to make sense.

I can agree with this. Also, people should avoid posting any details about exploit farms on the forums. Somebody did it in this thread and I was able to find it just using that information. This one is bad too, I expect it to be dealt with the next patch or I19 release.

You're right. I'm not mocking everybody, just a few of the posters that seem to take the view that I disagree with(and hopefully I made my view obvious).

I'm simply mocking some of the posters in this thread. It's pretty obvious, but you don't seem to be interested in what I'm actually posting. You are much more interested in putting words in my mouth and making stuff up. Way to go there turbo.
