Quote:So you're not going to go back over the devs' statements and other sources to provide supporting evidence, or even "hints", for the so-called City of Heroes 2 sequel or why you are of the opinion that it's "coming soon"? Because that's the sole basis of meaningful conversation here.
This is far from the first time on the forums the possibility of a sequel to CoH has come up - such as the CoH2 domain registration or its trademarking, which happened years ago - and then been argued down (so even the bragging rights have been reserved long ago).
Whatever Paragon Studios is working on, they're keeping it to themselves, and any predictions ought to be backed up by more than just, say, tarot cards, astrology, haruspicy, or a vaudevillian mentalist act.
I agree. He should feel bad and ashamed for speculating for fun. How dare him! -
Quote:I disagree. If Paragon Studios doesn't take customers from City of Heroes, somebody eventually will. Eventually may be several years from now, but there is no way it won't happen at some point.I agree with the sentiments expressed here; it's bad business sense to make a sequel to a game that's doing well and has only so much playerbase
They're in Dallas. -
There are plenty of leaders that don't deserve to be leading for whatever reason. I don't think if they deserve it or not is really relevant. Their league/team/supergroup. They can run it however they want. If their leadership is that bad, people are free to leave for greener pastures. I think what we have now works good enough.

Quote:Silas speaks the truth.Nope! Scrappers should get Ninjitsu, all the melee ATs should get access to Ice Armor and Ice Melee, Corruptors should get Psy Blast, FF and Poison, etc.
I don't agree with the idea that to play a certain set you have to play a certain AT. What if I want to have Ice Armor but not deal Tanker damage? More options is better. There's a point where too many choices can be paralyzing, but we're far from it. -
On the other hand, if it's just a bunch of people in thrown together from the queue, I have no issue with replacing the leader if the group finds him/her to be undesirable for whatever reason.
-
On preformed teams/leagues, I don't think there should be an option to replace leader, at least not the person that formed it. If people don't like that person's team/league, they are free to form their own or join another.

What Snow Globe said. Sentinal and Mid's now come from the same group anyways, so I don't see how it makes sense to be ok with Mid's and nervous about the other.

Quote:2 of 3 three VRs I have received since i20 have came when I took no less than six hospital trips."To illustrate this in a different way: team and league contributions for completion of goals found in the trials are an extremely important part of your overall individual participation score."
I was on a team where 3 of us got the 10 thread tables because we were constantly going to the hospital (the league finished everything which is why I was annoyed). It would be better for yourself and your teams if you are capable of completing all the goals.
edit: I should say I was on a spines/fire scrapper that killed a bunch of stuff, but wasn't quite ready to run through the labs/warehouse solo yet. -
Quote:Sounds like most of my ex-girlfriends.The well is like Curly from the three stooges, it's kind of rolling around on the ground going "wub wub wub wub wub." It's insane, dontcha know. That means it's a more convenient deus ex than most, since it can do whatever the heck the writers feel like making it do, and they don't even have to bother justifying its actions, because, insane.

I'm also disappointed with Statesman. Pansy.

This seems to fit my experience. Mainly common/uncommon is to be expected. And getting 2 very rares and no rares is fine since I'm dealing with such a small number.
-
I don't have an exact total, but I seem to now get a pretty close split between common and uncommon. With no rares and 2 very rares.
-
I think kicking extras is stupid. That simple. However, I believe the person with the star should be able to kick people at their whim. If the person abuses that, eventually it will catch up with them.
-
I'm kinda the opposite Fulmens. I'll happily drop 500k or a million on some piece of common or uncommon salvage to have it nao. Throwing influence around like that and not caring makes me feel rich. And I like that.

Quote:I agree. In fact I don't think there are enough people like to make the effort worth it for them. But I just want it to be known that if they somehow decide to do it, I'm on board.I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. Knowing the type of person I am I'd probably buy it too even though I probably wouldn't use it all that much.
All I'm saying is that the Devs are always going to weigh their effort to develop anything for this game against their expectations of how many players would benefit from it. Exactly how many Crazy 88 members are there in this game? -
I would pay 20 dollars(maybe more) for an app that allows me to access the market from my Android device(tablet, phone, etc).
-
Not positive, my guess would be **** tons of recharge and procs.

This thread has a ton of information. Be warned, it's really long.
This is the most recent list of top times(Scrapper only).
People post about more than just Scrappers in that thread, but the list is only kept for them. -
Well, sure if you're gonna use my actual statements against me it appears I'm messing around. But that isn't fair.

I was starting to get into PvP and really really enjoy it once upon a time. Then i13 happened. It killed any interest I had in PvP. Which is too bad too. Because if I had PvP to enjoy I quite likely wouldn't take so many breaks when I get bored with PvE content.

I'm not going to try and fix the prices of any enhancements or salvage, that would be screwing over the casual players. Besides, there is already plenty of price fixing going on. Why would I want to add to it? That would just make it harder for the casual player to purple out their Warshade.
