Congrats! Soon you'll be saying to yourself, "I only have 2 billion?"
-
I'll take the blame. Also, I decided my previous post was stupid. I want to play before I decide to remain subscribed between now and Issue 20, so I shouldn't be so damn stubborn and just get on the test server.

Quote:I can deal with only one day. I want to play it live before my sub runs out so I can decide to extend it now or wait until Issue 20.Well obviously I'd like to have I19 live right now...
But if it comes down to not going live until Dec 7 and you only get one day to play with I19 then I wish you luck with that.
That is currently undecided.
Also, I have zero interest in beta testing any game, so I don't actually have it installed on my computer. I realize that is a self imposed limitation, and if that means I don't get to play issue 19 content before my sub runs out then I accept it as my own fault.
But I think delaying it a week because of WoW seems pointless. Also, that isn't in my best interest(which I admit is my primary concern). -
Quote:Not me. My sub runs out on the 8th and I want to play the new content before it runs out.Still I think it'd be bad move to try to release anything on the same day WoW is. I'm sure this game relies on Issue releases as a means to get a temporary boost to its revenues from returning players. There's no reason to waste the full effect of that "bump" by having any of our potential players distracted by another game.
Honestly if I19 got delayed long enough to have Dec 7 become the next viable date for its release I'd almost rather it be delayed yet another week beyond that just so that it doesn't have to eclipsed by WoW. -

As long as it is out by the 7th of December I'll be satisfied.

Quote:I'm sure they are. I'm not calling WW or the devs lame. I'm not sure why you feel the need to defend them to me, it is weird and not really relevant to anything.I'm sure they're working as hard as they can to make it work
edit: And if it came across as me calling the devs lame, my apologies for communicating much badly. -

Extremely Lame. But I've already waited 3 months since GR released, another two weeks won't kill me if it is done right.

As part of your top attack chain I think of Siphon Life as an attack and regen more than a heal since it will give a steady amount of HP at regular intervals. You can always use it early if you need an extra heal.
If you want to optimize SL, then the only way to slot it is with 3 Golgi Exposure and 3 Nucleolus Exposure. That will make your Damage, Accuracy, Heal, and End Discount 94.93% -
Quote:I like this idea. A lot. Let people buy up to ten tickets a week too and we could eliminate even more influence. I would spend ten million a week just to do it.This doesn't mean we should give up on them, however. We need more influence sinks, not less. A lotto would be a good way to do that, in a different way: buy a ticket for 1 million influence, and each week one winner earns 100 million influence. That would likely bleed a huge amount of influence from the economy.

Those are great tips yall, I really appreciate it. I'm hoping we can do some real crazy stuff as a duo. We both like to push ourselves, so maybe we'll try to duo an ITF or something.

I think you'll find much more help if you start a thread in the Tanker Forums.
I have never actually made a tank past level 10, otherwise I would help you out with the build you posted. But the weekends tend to be slow on the boards, so if you start a thread in Tanker Forums be patient and I'm sure somebody will eventually help you. -
So a buddy and I are working on two emp/sonics to run together, primarily teaming alone so we can buff each other to crazy levels. I'm getting ready to plan the builds and I'm wondering if there is really much of a point in going for IO set bonuses.
With Fort, Adrenaline Boost, the auras, tactics, assault, maneuvers, and hasten is there really that much more benefit we can gain from IO sets? If so, what do yall think we should shoot for? I haven't looked at the numbers yet, but I'm guessing we'll need a little bit of global recharge to make hasten perma, but it can't be that much.
As always, thoughts, comments, and suggestions greatly appreciated! -
Absolutely. I'm confident that Dark Melee(without /sd) can still get around 230-235 DPS in the right situations. I just haven't made the changes to my DM/SR to prove that.

Quote:I don't know how yall get that badge and make a profit, I always lose tons of influence. I mean, I know the patience thing, I just don't have the patience to bid and wait for reasonable prices.I'm about to finish off Field Crafter on my 'generic IOs only' guy and it looks like he'll clear roughly 60m in profit while also Frankenslotting himself out, including a low-level Kismet +acc.
When I want something, I want it right nao and I bid until I get it. I guess I'm part of 'the problem' then since I'll pay top influence for something if I get it right away. -

Quote:Beta Boards:I didn't know it was in Open Beta is all
I'm usually quicker to catch on to these things. I think the character copy tool worked for the Beta server, too...

I'm not sure I understand your question Sam. Issue 19 is in open beta now so I don't know why it would be locked.

GG is just trying to give people a heads up on info she received, nothing more. She is being nice. Now to me the info doesn't really make sense(why would I need to ok spam from NCSoft to get in a beta for CoH?), but she is just relaying it as she understands.
If I had to guess, I would say she got bad info. But it is just a guess.
