  1. I just checked the schedule for next week and they have made a few changes. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is having a premiere, and ThunderCats are back with new episodes next Friday.

    Spoiler Alert!

The next episode of ThunderCats is called Berbils. Can't wait to see the new take on the classic ThunderCats allies.
  2. Something sorta off-putting about teenaged Zatanna. Her spells are also a lot easier to understand in print.

You don't have to drag him around to the graves. On the single run that I did with my Tanker late last night, we beat him down a bit, then everyone else went around the graveyard spawning and defeating zombies while I held his attention at the mausoleum door. He moved only maybe 20 feet from where he spawned for the whole thing, and we managed to get the 99 zombies and defeat him in time.

But if you're toggle tanking with a Corruptor, you could just drag him around the Mausoleum. We did that on a team where our sturdiest melee was a Scrapper and we had no real support ATs. It would give you opportunities to break LoS and heal up. No real need to move him way out among the tombstones unless you want to.

You can still meet Miss Liberty, but not on-screen.
You can meet (and fight) a Miss Liberty from the 1960s in Mender Tesseract's arc/SF in Villain Ouroboros. The person that you quoted is confusing her with her Praetorian counterpart, who shares the same name and was killed by Dominatrix, at least prior to the revamp of Praetoria. I don't recall even reading Dominatrix's bio since the revamp to see if matricide is still part of her backstory.

Especially when such a piece has been long time bugged, and AFAIK, still not fixed? (Which sort of derails the anticipated argument: "It gives you access to all cape styles at level 1!" Which is likely a bug, and not for the female model it doesn't, which is also missing a Magic Cape style, Occult.)
This isn't true, for the most part, any longer. The Occult types for the collar and cape are still missing for females, but they do get to use any of the other cape options with the High Collar cape that Male and Huge can right from creation. I'm still fairly certain that it was a bug that Males and Huges could use the other cape types with the High Collar right from level 1, but they decided to proliferate the bug to Females and turn it into a feature that they could charge more than the whole bundle for, I guess.

This was the third new episode broadcast in as many weeks. The schedule on the Cartoon Network site has new episodes for the next two weeks straight, and info that has been released to web sources has new premieres scheduled to at least the beginning of November, with a hiatus week on October 28th, probably for Halloween-themed programming.

I'm not particularly fond of the six month hiatus in the middle of the premiere season that we saw, but even Generator Rex had a three month hiatus after the first nine episodes of season one. It just seems to be the way that Cartoon Network works with a new series. If we go by what Weisman has told us, the first season is basically all done with preliminary production, and there are nine of the remaining fourteen episodes ready to air. I doubt we'll see any long hiatuses for the remainder of the season, though holiday programming may preempt a few of them for a week or two.
  7. Not just Babs, but the original Bat-Girl (later retconned to Flamebird) Bette Kane.

That might have initially been the plan, but they just don't have the luxury of that many episodes to work it out. There are only 7* from after this one left in the series. I haven't seen any of the remainder, but I have doubts about them adequately cleaning that plotline up before the series ends.

*There are actually 8 episodes that Cartoon Network hasn't aired, but one of them is from last season, and apparently features a BatB take on Birds of Prey. Seeing how dark and even graphic episodes like Inside the Outsiders, Chill of the Night and Emperor Joker were, I'd bet that what's holding that one up is some kind of hint of sexuality.

The old bug was, and still is, fixed for everyone I've talked to. This new bug isn't the old overrun of the cleared fog database buffer, or whatever was causing the old one, but something different. You can tell by the behavior of Reveal. With the old bug, you could clear a new zone, partially or completely, and then using Reveal would actually restore the fog on that map. This time Reveal works, but zone may or may not be recovered when you zone out and back in or log out and back in.

My experience with this new bug is that my main's maps stay cleared, including First Ward, even in between zoning and logging, as long as I play her exclusively. If I switch to other characters, especially new ones, in between play sessions with her, her maps will go dark, but they will be back to normal if I don't play another character in between play sessions on her.

FAIRLY sure I didn't run it on this one previously.
Cape not available until I ran the mission.

    Result: Cape available.
Well, that pretty much explains it. For some reason, those collectors edition capes are tied to the unlock mission. Sounds like an oversight in the purchased unlocks.

Have you purchased an unlock and then gotten to level 20, or purchased one on a character already 20 or higher, but that hasn't done the unlock mission? I wonder if there's a hidden flag in there for a level restriction on them.

Perhaps that's it, the purchased unlock isn't registering them. For those with capes unlocked the old way, here's what it looks like for Male and Female. I don't have any Huge characters with capes unlocked.

The CoV one is right above it in that same category, and it's working for Full, Half, Asymmetrical and Over the Shoulder Mantles. I never really used Single Shoulder Mantles, so I couldn't tell you if it was ever there, but it certainly isn't now.

But, I chose to arrest Habashy, and he was phased out of his location.

So, I couldn't "complete" it. I had to quit the Orou TF mode.

Now, unlike all the others that are completed and have a "star" next to them in Orou, this one doesn't have a star.

Not a huge deal, but also not the "standard" behavior. I bugged this in game, too.
That's because the contact that you were working for, and chose to arrest, is Aaron Thierry, not Matthew Harbashy. Harbashy is the first contact, and is who you get sent back to to end the sequence of the new intro arcs. It actually got me, too when I first did it.

The DVD edition capes are still there for the Male and Female characters that I checked on that have already unlocked capes. They aren't a separate major category, like Half Mantle, Full Mantle, etc., but a Cape option, like Long Capes and Short Capes.

In looking at my system chat messages, I see the following:

I've learned that the same is true for the new hero arcs as well. This is a departure from the way Ouroboros missions have been set up prior to I21, and in the case of VEATs who cannot start Operative Kuzmin's arc at all because he tells them to speak with Alan Dessock but doesn't actually give any missions, kinda crappy because we're cut out of Ouroboros content for our side.

Whether requiring the new starter contacts to be run in a certain order in Ouroboros is a bug or a deliberate design decision, I ask that this restriction be removed. At the least, make VEATs able to run Kuzmin's arc.
    Oh, hey! Look at that!

I can't even fathom why they would lock VEATs out of doing the first arc through Ouroboros, thus preventing them from doing any of the others in the sequence, and keeping them from earning a badge for the final one in that sequence.

I wonder if you could finagle your way into the Souvenir in the reverse of how non-VEATs/HEATs can get the Souvenirs for the VEAT/HEAT arcs. get someone to start it for you, then they either log off, quit the team, or just hang around to finish it with you. As long as it gets called in at the end, instead of just quitting after the reward, you should get the Souvenir, and have it marked as completed in Ouro, allowing you to move on in the sequence.

I'd be all for just removing the need to do them in a certain order through Ouro, though, as it would fix my problem from this thread as well.

Please bring these back because I use them on alot of characters. I'll post here If I notice other pieces missing.
Those masks are still there, they just had their original names (from before CoV) restored. Diamonds, Pointed Mask, Rounded Mask, Serratus and Small Skull. This means that they are no longer grouped together on the alphabetized list.
  18. With the new arcs in Issue 21, we have apparently bumped up against a new limit on the number of Souvenirs that we can have. This wouldn't be a big deal, but, if you hit this limit before doing the new low-level arcs for one side or the other, you won't be able to continue past the first, and thus be deprived of a badge. Ouroboros uses the Souvenirs to track whether you've done an arc or not, and it won't let you start the later arcs because it doesn't know that you have done the prerequisites without the Souvenir.

Edit: I have found a workaround that allowed me to continue on and get the badge. Go to Ouro (or your Pillar-equipped SG base) when the reward window comes up, but before you call the arc in, then start the next in the series up right then. The Souvenir does appear, and will stay with you as long as you don't zone or log out, so you are marked as complete briefly, and can move on. Annoying, but it works.

    theoretically.
I specifically tested this with my Test install last night and it worked. The patch from current Live to Issue 21 was 2.5 "Gigs". I put that in quotes because I think Paragon uses the mass storage definitions of Kilos, Megs and Gigs, 1000 rather than 1024. By the time that you get to Gigs on that scale, it's considerably lower than a true Gigabyte.

There hasn't been a pre-release download ever with NCSoft Launcher, and since the old updater is no more, I doubt we'll ever see one again.

    DCnU [Spoilers!]

As I said in another thread. the urban legend bit in the old DCU was effectively removed by Identity Crisis putting Batman back into the Justice League as a founder. There were group photos with him. Hard to be an urban legend when you're riding into battle against Starro in a big green bubble in Happy Harbor with all kinds of eyewitnesses. So the final status quo for Batman in the old DCU was that he might have been an urban legend up until the time that the Justice League was founded, but he certainly couldn't have been afterward.

On most servers, it's hard to find a team to run Tarikoss once, even if it's the WST. Villain side is slow. Aside from that, I did it twice and still had to farm Tarixus' arc to finish that badge off. It must be nice to have random spawns line up with enough Lts.so predictably. I wish that my experiences matched that.

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that he's less of an urban legend in the last 5 years, due to his involvement with the Justice League, and that Stephanie Brown (assuming that her brief stint as Robin is still canon) and Damian are both within the last 5 years.

    Issue 21 badges

It's not a new badge, but there's a very positive change for the Legacy Chain defeat-based Gladiators in Issue 21. There are around 18 spawns of Legacy Chain, each with a Lt., in Mercy Island near Fort Darwin in a couple of areas. One set of these, the ones guarding the little vortices, are mission-critical, and should thus respawn very quickly. That's going to make those badges much quicker.
