Hmm, so they are. I hadn't even noticed until you pointed it out.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm still not seeing it... I played on various characters, hoping through zones and missions, and I don't just see this happening. My FF bubbles are still sticking to people when they zone, and I know Sprint and PFF are still working, as are click powers like Hasten and Eclipse on my Warshade.
Am I doing something right? -
[ QUOTE ]
If it's separate from regular email, sure. Character specific has its place.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh I agree, and I like where Lucky666 was going with it, something attached to the MArc Kiosks, so you can view, reply, and send them only from those terminals. -
[ QUOTE ]
Err... what's "happening now"? I haven't had any powers-related issues.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'll second this with a "wait.. what?" This is the first I've heard of anything "happening now". -
I know what you're saying, but I'm thinking they have a good reason to put it the way it is. And I will reiterate:
"I think it's fine as is, and any work to "improve" by allowing some powers is unneeded." -
I personally think the release of the Mission Architect is the perfect time to work on and release a form of "Global Email". An Email system based on Global Names, and would be used by the MArc system for feedback, and even allow a dialog by showing the feedback provider's global Email. Being more permanent then Global Tells to players off line is a huge bonus, and something I would love for the MArc system.
-
I'm kind of fond of it, personally. I don't mind losing Swift, Nova, etc while in there, because it means that other people aren't running Hurricane and what not.
And if we're going to shut off "some" powers, might as well make it "all" powers, just to prevent things like Self Destruction from not being affected by the suppression because of classification or level issues.
In other words, I think it's fine as is, and any work to "improve" by allowing some powers is unneeded. -

I've never been to Iraq, but that war has definitely taken place.
[/ QUOTE ]Great point. Anyone one last night on a server other then champion see a bunch of tanks holding events?
[/ QUOTE ]
Shoot, I was on Champion (level 7-10 Scrappers) in KR, and I STILL didn't see a bunch of tanks holding an event. -

I have always known about TT. Been to a few, but dont believe it should get a plaque. So, here is another against it.But really, it doesnt make a difference to me if one is put in game. It doesnt affect my playing none.
[/ QUOTE ]
I also do not believe the TT event deserves a plaque. However, I am personally against it, and feel that a plaque is a form of CoH Canon, and the TT event, while an impressive player organized event, is not CoH Canon.
I would support other, non-canon forms of official recognition, such as the ones which have already occurred for the TT event. -

Maybe retire some these sets and make the common drop pools (A or B, or both?) smaller. Making better drops.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm going to have to "boo" this one, as that reduces the ability to "FrankenSlot" powers. -
I'd rather have Greens provide a -Regeneration Resistance, to provide protection against -Regen debuffs.
And of course Blues could get a -Recovery Resistance portion, to provide protection against -Recov debuffs as well.
This way, when facing enemies who are already providing a problem with either bar (say, Carnies), you can refill your bar a bit, and resist the debuffing for a bit. The bonus itself is pretty minor, as there are fewer -Recov and -Regen debuffs, when compared to the many other effects (flat out -End, for example), so while the buff would be nice, it wouldn't over power the Inspirations and is more passive then adding a boost to Regen or Recovery. -

I see no valid reason that you have to go so freaking slow while using it. Seriously, it has an end drain to compensate for the small defense boost it offers.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's extra endurance cost stems from it's ability to allow you to travel in any direction on the X, Y, or Z axis. That's the reason it costs more, not the defense boost, as Combat Jumping has the same defense boost and costs significantly less.
[/ QUOTE ]
Movement in any direction, and staying there once you stop moving. (Unless you get hit with -Fly, anyway.)
Minor addition, but for me, that's a pretty significant one.
[/ QUOTE ]
You are correct, and I apologize. That is a very significant detail, something I should not have forgotten. "My bad." -

3. Stygian Circle.
[/ QUOTE ] The single greatest power in the game, period. A kitten is saved every time Stygian Circle is used(unless you don't like kittens, then well...).
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm actually torn between that power, and another, as the Greatest Power Ever. Eclipse. I love Stygian Return. I'll use it when I find myself with full HP and End, just because I'm kicking the enemy while they're down. But still, Eclipse just makes me feel so... Awesome. It is, sadly, my own personal Awesome Button. -

I did that to GM_Lloyd once. He flew through a wall and left me behind.

So you were the one following me that day! -

You've never known the simple joy of putting someone in Atlas on autofollow and not saying anything have you?

Someone did that to me once on my 50. I thought they were an idiot and left them in the dust as I went about my business. -

As long as you post within 225 replies of me in the same thread you will have Forum Cartel privileges and can /jranger as much as you like.

I admit it, I lol'd. What can I say, the exchange was funny. -

His name reminds me. The devs need to overturn every nerf created by PvP. Now that the systems are separated there is no reason to keep them in the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
In a semi-serious way, I would like for Hurricane to be returned to how it was before the Adjustment. I know it's workable now, but it's never felt the same since they changed it for PvP. -

Honest question to you Smurphy-
Why do you think the Devs have NOT merged the markets yet?
[/ QUOTE ]
Merging the market requires doing something. Not merging the market requires nothing. Also, a long time ago in a post long eaten by the forum monster Ex Libris stated that she enjoyed a "dynamic" market. I believe those were her words.
That is a rational and logical opinion. A dynamic market where the prices change frequently can be more fun and more game like. A merged market would be more stable and less dynamic. A merged market would function more like a store than an flea market where bargains can be found. Perhaps the dev team has the "we like dynamic environment" attitude towards the markets.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd also contemplate that the "Influence to Infamy" transfer is something they would want to avoid, through past history posts and expressed desires. That can of course change, but I couldn't tell you when, how, or why they would alter that particular stance. -
[ QUOTE ]
This is becoming incredibly frustrating, I don't mind when a mob runs when its low on health but that makes sense. Now they run the moment I attack and will not stop until dead, even bosses and heroes are doing this crap. It's worse on my mastermind, my pets refuse to stop chasing runners as if there magnetized towards it no matter how much I spam for them to follow or go passive.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is your MM one that uses the Dark toggle, Darkest Night? Because that power does cause them to run, but the moment you shut it off, they come right back and resume normal stances. If you combo with a perma-Tar Patch, they obviously won't be running very far. -
