Testing is a lot of work. I have alot of free time <home business> and I also have a knack for finding bugs. Other than that I have no justification for being on -this- closed beta.
...I am a master base builder and would be perfect for testing new tools for base editing. Should issue 17 include such a thing, for closed beta, I would be perfect. -
looks as if everything Ive ever wanted short of my brute coming to blueside is in i16.
I simply cant relate how happy this makes me!
Posi, two things that have me concerned about the higher challenge/higher rewards
1. I Have spent a massive ammount of time perfecting a build and slotting it full of rares, This brute is basically my pride and joy. It is a very specific build for a very specific thing. Would people complaining about that characters strength eventually get the build nerfed? As far as I know, My build is what the game allows, I'm not breaking any rules and I dont want to see this happen; That would ruin me and my love for the game.
2. Ticket cap: Often when Im on my missions, I just loose myself for a while. I love to stay in a mission as long as I can. If I can set an extremely long and difficult mission <4-6 hrs> I calculated that without the ticket cap at 1500 I would have made around 9000ish tickets. I dislike zoneing just to start another mission when the one I am on is quite capable of continuously delivering the rewards. Since my character is almost purped out <missing one set> I dont really need anything from ticket rolls, My point being, I am one of the farmers that populates the market. This is my playstyle. Is there any way to maybe adjust the ticket cap?
I love everything I am hearing about i16, I cant wait to see it in action!

Ive not experienced that particular problem, but alot of my teamers have. One thing I did notice, there are several missing enh that were available for purchase via tickets, resist damage, endurance modification, not sure if theres more. Impervium armor isnt rewarding <or stacking> its respective set bonuses,<been /bugged> not sure if theres more sets not rewarding bonuses, just a few things everyone should keep their eyes open for. This latest client is wierd. -

Well, On Victory, theres an assortment of sg's/vg's that would be more than happy for new members,
Infinity isnt bad choice either, that is, if you enjoy being lost in a labyrinth...

My brute has a fully decked out base, plot size, permission everything including the throneroom all prepped and lemony fresh scented just waiting for him on blue side
the VG I created for building this brute has always been disposeable. Ive got other sg members I'm leaving it to should they want it. -

I like what I see! I wish the purps for that build were a bit more on the available side <i16 ftw!> whats the heal like on that energy drain? ive never tried it.

im still learning the way of the brute, The build I am useing can't be duplicated in mid's <several of us have tried, for some reason it simply wont let us> I dont know if theres a global recharge cap or not, Does anyone know the answer to this?

I use a playstation 2 type controller with a small trackball mounted on the top. I play the game like its san andreas. too bad I cant steal cars. <GTA was what got me interested in cox>
Jumping, maneuvering, controlling powers, ive seen a great deal of people that use keyboards to play. Iv'e seen their reaction time compared to mine. Keep in mind I have nothing against useing, keyboards, or those nifty keypads, I just tend to outrun everyone that does.
A reasonable size mob <not usually what I deal with> works well with the MM Brute combo... also depends on the brute.
as a brute, tank, and scraps; Ive played with team mates that use kb. because of my response time, and my movement speed, I can chase the enemies as they fly thought the air, and if it wasnt for the unrealistic and frustrating movement penalties for useing powers, I would be riping them to shreds AS they flew through the air...while calling them names... Just my playstyle I guess...
several factors for the Brute MM combo consist of Who and what you and your team mate are playing with and the lvl of skill/communication.
voice chat helps alot.

iam a 24 vet player, and now my 50s have nothing to do. i go to PI and no one there, then to RWZ and nothing. finally i step into Atlas Park and everyone is there doing boring farms. Game should be renamed to "City of Atlas Park AE". Since most players are in one building trying to Power Level.
Even if i try to stay away from AE, i still can't find or get enough people to do regular missions... Gonna have to move on to another game looks like...
