Dear City of whatever,
please publish as many times as you see fit whenever you find huge problems that need addressing, I am patient, I have a better understanding of these things and I'm expecting things to go haywire especially with all of the big changes being made and new powersets being introduced. That's just how things are going to work. One minute things are fine the next you get all kinds of bug reports with all kinds of not-so-easy-to-fix things that nobody could have possibly foreseen...
but anyway I'm in the minority here so eh... -
I plan to win not for the gametime but rather I would like the most messed up haircut in the history of...

There's gonna be alot of butthurt going on when things that were previously footloose and fancy free now show up with a price tag.
That's buisness. Thats to be expected. they will chop it up and sell it in little bitty pieces if it would generate that money honey. Might as well embrace this change because there is no going back now. That was part of that whole "in order to get good things" deal. You have to be prepared to make some sacrifices.
my advice: stay focused on the payoff. Keep sub'd and wait for the team to get enough money to work on bases.

If not, then I refute your assertion that there's any difference between "gaming the system" and "pissing your potential subscriber base off." There's no daylight between the two. It comes down to whether the devs feel the restriction is reasonable, because all restrictions reasonable or otherwise will piss off someone somewhere.
Other than that, I would otherwise tend to agree that being able to pay base rent is a perfect candidate for a Paragon Rewards tier reward. Something not too severe: tier 3 or 4 perhaps.
Think of it more like "I'm staying sub'd because I want to see improvements made to the game...including bases" -

I'm being screwed. This is a slap in the face. This is not the way to retain me as a customer. Other people became VIP through much less effort. The devs don't listen. Other MMOs would have made me a VIP by now. The community team should be ashamed. I deserve a refund. when in beta, i wanted to test this extensively, however; kept running out of paragon points to spend. so the most efficient use was enhancing acc/rech. note: when I say "some vary" I mean not all sets were acc/rech/dam, some were acc/rech/hold. -
might want to check both and see if anyone mistakenly was put on ignore.

idea: what about a /basesalvageracks command? something that would allow you access to your salvage racks anywhere anytime? yes I know the /vault allows some access, but not many are going to have that command available <I don't>
I like the ideas about changing the crafting table cooldown and the 10 feet/duration idea.

Edit: I guess minor tweaks just goes to show how schizophrenic the code of the editor really is. handle with care is an understatement. I wish the team had something better to work with. -
Last Monday I went out for some job hunting. not that I need a job, I just want a little extra cash for some projects I am working on. I encountered a homeless vet with no legs. As I crossed his palm with silver I knew his image would remain with me for the rest of my life.
I bet he would love to have my problems. not just mine, I'm sure there's plenty of people he would kill to switch places with. He would love to be able to deal with the "stress" of not being able to temporarily play a video game.
That day I was reminded of how blessed I really am to have what I do regardless of the so very minor inconveniences I deal with on a daily basis.
Server downtime is temporary.
No legs is not.

Tornadoes effectively scare me and you are talking to someone that doesn't scare easily.
you would think they aren't all that bad until you are in one, or three...
the bad thing about tornadoes is they are small, compact, seemingly random disasters...that can sneak up on you. this is where location comes into play. if you are in a very flat area, with no trees you could easily spot one on the ground and determine the threat level.
if you live in a rather suburb type area, with trees crowding the sky, or at the worst a heavily wooded area, then yes, you will be scared. I don't care who you are how bad you think you are, or how sociopathic you may be, tornadoes will terrify you. Its not a matter of discussion it is a simple fact.
that much moving cloud, that kinetic force, which you can feel, with that much debris, is terrifying. Especially up close.
in the worst case scenario, a tornado can form, destroy your life, and dissipate in less than 5 minutes...
I have a very large tree hanging over my bedroom. I don't sleep during storms. -

Could use a points grant. Have much testing to do, already burned through the points that were given <which wasn't much if you know how to -really- test a thing> I'd also like it if the reps were a bit more cooperative in granting such requests without resorting to "go panhandle on the forums" type responses. Don't take my presence lightly. want me to test? Fine. I'll test. Don't want me to test? fine. just say so and I'll quit wasting my time. Spare me theses insults.

when testing a few role play based things on live in regards to the hide and seek even I was preparing for... we discovered that yes the /ignore spammer feature can be used by alt accts and shut you down.
