Used to be a bug where if just one of the characters was hidden that message would pop up when you sent tells to that person. Haven't seen it in awhile.

this bug has actually been going on for some time, so it was before all this freedom stuff
neither of us are hidden from anything
additionally everyone else can see and contact him without a problem... it's only me that sees him as hidden
I got hit with this bug about a month or so ago.
This is the solution that customer support sent.
The person that is "hidden" should run through these steps:
1. Run the "/hide" command again.
2. Select everything and then click "Accept" (so that you are hiding from everything).
3. Travel to any other zone nearest your character.
4. Once in the new zone, run the "/hide" command, uncheck everything and then click "Accept."
5. Log out of the game and then log back in with the same character.

might want to check both and see if anyone mistakenly was put on ignore.
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.

I have a friend who I can't IM without getting the message ' is offline or hidden, but will receive your message when they login. '
They aren't hidden.
We've both tried hiding, unhiding, friending, defriending, I still can't im them without this message. What is wrong here?
