Should I slot Parry for damage or just defense along with recharge and accuracy?

PvE constant damage. Don't think I'll PvP with this guys much.

What about attack chains? I know BS doesn't have good DPS, but what is the highest you can get with /Fire?

I'm guessing Hack-Slash-Disembowel-HS?

So recharge and damage bonuses in even amounts?

Interesting, so I shouldn't slot for damage bonuses, but for recharge instead to get Healing Flames and FE up faster?

I'm gonna roll one. A Earth/Earth I imagine. I like the Stone Spears powers the CoT use, so I am happy that got into the set.

How important is it to stack damage bonuses from IO sets?

I'm going for a maximum carnage BS/Fire build, and I don't know how effect the bonus damage is from sets. Is it worth it? How much would be enough to justify it?

Besides Ice Armour and Regen, I don't think there's any more defensive sets to give to brutes.

Quick question, and I think its somewhat relevant to this topic, and I don't want to start a new thread.


How often do the PvP IOs drop? Is it on a timer or something? Or is it just a chance to happen every time you defeat someone?

How much recharge? Counting both Mental Training and Hasten, and 95% recharge from enhancements.

I've seen mine smack 3 guys at once with it. Its rather rare, but when it happens, I giggle.

I would roll a Claws/WP Brute in i16.


Being able to change the color of WPs toggles is going to be awesome.

I was awesome when i12 came out. A ton of Spiders with all the leadership toggles.


I was well over the softcapped at level 10 I recall once.

This. I've seen some very tough PBs in RV. They are harder than hell to kill, with Reconstruction and a DP clone. And that Incandescent Strike deals some pretty good damage from what I've seen. And they get BU.

I just put common IO's in it. Didn't change no powers picks or slots.


Freaking build though. Stealth? Phase Shift? This a PvP build?

I feel your pain. My bane is lolzy in RV. Granted, I built him for +HP and +damage, and have very little defense.

I can at least stay hidden most of the time, but that is little help when a blaster comes knocking. Although, Survilenceing a troller or Defender usually sends em running back to base.

I'd rip everything outta my PvP build, but I go to RV with friends sometimes, so it helps to show up prepared.
