It's amazing what gets people all worked up.
I like using toon, char, character, hero, villaim, and puppet. What I use tends to rely which keyboard I'm on, since one is a lot harder to type on than the other. -

We need a comedic relief in the group, a hero that has bad puns at awkward times or a Michelangelo from the ninja turtles. May not of wrote Statesman like that but a sidekick like that to him might of offset the tone. I'd like to also see more missions with banter between the main heroes, maybe not in the SSA's, but ''official'' characters in funny situations that make you LOL. Or right when things are getting absolutely obscene, or seem bleak, a character just breaks out with a side fluff that makes us fall out.

And I'm not sure how I'd write him. As is, I think he's fine, I just need to remember he's *not* Superman or Captain America, he's his own character. Which means... he can be a dick. -

I just did four same concept toon. It was 'troll girl', playing with the game mythos. One's a supa troll, one's a trollkin, and two had powers going on and mutated differently. And I chose a different set for each that fit in with the lore.
But I got quite a bit of difference with one simple concept.
That said, do what you want. There's no one who can stop you. If you wanna make the identical character for every slot that's between you and god. -

As I recall it, when the Praetorians were added in Issue 1, Ms. Liberty was not Statesman's granddaughter. A retcon made her his granddaughter when his backstory was fleshed out for CoV, Maria Jenkins was changed from Maiden Justice to Madame Danger, and Statesman was connected to Lord Recluse by making Maiden Justice Recluse's sister and Statesman's wife, and Miss Liberty their daughter.
Edit: Heh, I found an archived copy of the thread where that came to light. I was apparently the first person to notice the Tyrant/Dominatrix problem (on the forums, anyway). Check the bottom of the page, right after Manticore explains that Ms. Liberty is now Statesman's granddaughter.
When I read Dominatrix's bio the first time years ago, I pasted that last bit in chat to my partner and there was this long pause, and we both went "EW!" -

Psychic melee! A sonic shield set for melee.
Water control set. Water blast set.
A police epic AT, because I'd love a cop progression in the game and they *do* get cool powers. From the psy ones to the ones in robot suits.
A 'magic' powerset for blasters or defenders or controllers whatever. With sparkles. -

Here's a wacky idea, if someone sends a tell asking to join up with you, why not invite them? You were soloing and now you're teamed. Do you really care about their grammar skills or presumption? Do you feel that a random lowbie is an unconscionable burden upon your shoulders? If you're just taking it easy and soloing while you do something else you could say "I'm taking it easy and soloing while I do something else. Still want to join?" They might.
I almost always invite anyone who asks because if nothing else it's nice to have an audience for my badass spawn shredding. -
