You gets better than this? I be impressed and slightly scared.
Seriously, though, that be awesome. ^.^ -
Yeah, that image got a confused second glance. Nice effect. o.O
here be pictures, in the unlikely event you don't get anything more interesting to draw. -
This sounds to be made of pleasantness.
here be pictures! Many, many pictures, because PBs be awesome. >.> -
Endemic issue with the migration it seems. No longer for MM guides however!

Since I appear to be on a roll, thus was the Stalker list dragged from the rubble of migration:

Well, I can't speak for Defenders, but the Scrapper materials seem remarkably well preserved, all the way back to I2 even. Here be a list, do tell me if I screwed anything up:

I am very slowly on this. Long list and whatnot.

Because I am both slightly bored and mysteriously helpful:

Official Guide Post Editor for the Section is: NERICUS
Links updated for new forum by Maynia
This thread is for posting Guide or FAQ links for Soldiers of Arachnos. Please create your guides in the "Player Guides" forum (since posts in that section do not roll off) and link the thread here. Also, do not post your guide in this thread - only the link to your guide. For non-Soldiers of Arachnos guides, check the master list of all Guides in the Guide to Guides
Failing any clear identifier from the poster, I will go by the original post date vs. Issue releases: Since VEATS were introduced in Issue 12, there is not likely to be any guides for this section prior to this date.General Guides

Quote:Having checked now, yes, they are.Which means ALL the Guides to Guides posts are now broken?
*caveat - I know very little of forums so I may be talking out of my backside from here on in*
Presumably if the post numbers were retained through the migration (big if) some sort of script could be written to harvest them and transplant them into vbulletin-usable links, but I have no idea how possible or plausible such a thing is.
If it's not, that a lot of work for someone. o.O -

This be truth. Not tested it really but I suspect any links to within the boards that were extant when they were migrated will be borked just because the links are still pointed to the old boards. Which no longer exist. Means the guide-guides will be broken too. -
Might be interesting. Although twice the HP of the buffpets would be 20hp IIRC, so they'd get splattered instantly if they drew any aggro at all.
-
Far as I can see it must be, given the way they chose to implement it. IIRC the fear is a temp-power granted to the target of the AS, which it obviously can't use if it's dead.
Gots to think if they wanted it to work with oneshots they would have done it a different way, though to be fair I can't think how that would be done. o.O -
Probably because as soon as any arc gets HoF it inevitably gets smacked back down to 4 by a horde of jealous/vindictive morons. Ain't people awesome?
-
Hooray probably! And/or incoming horrific culture clash! We shall see. Also can we integrate the serverlists too maybe? 100-odd extra character slots would be neat.

I second that. The Yanky forumites who think that '[censored] lol u onli got 2k post u n00b' will pretty much be forced to eat there words.

Hmm. Care to cite evidence here? From what I've seen (which is admittedly not the entirety of all the forums) it seems to be the people with more posts that get sniped at, because they 'spend all their time in the forums and never play the game' and other such claptrap. -
The hands-on-hips pose already exists as /e akimbo , but a neutral-stand emote might be useful, yes.
-
editimo: scooped! darn you, Syn.
Agreeded! fits with the zone description for it to be empty, really. Development wouldn't necessarily be bad, but it's not hurting much as it is. -
Urk... that's never good to see. In my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience stuff like this usually means a graphics card that's either damaged or overheating to a degree that will imminently cause terminal damage.
-
Not entirely certain you even need to reinstall from the original discs. When I did it, if my memory is working right, all I had to do was copy the game folder, plunk it into place on the new hard drive, and run the updater to get it working. Needed to point it to where the copied folder was so it could find the .piggs and whatnot for checking, but it worked.
Nodoubt someone smarter will be along soon to correct me in great detail though. -
And that would be because the help chat button/prompt/thing is evidently still coded to use /h despite said change! sloppy, very much so.
-
Command changed to /hc for some reason with I14. /help and /h bring up the old help menu now, because that's always been useful. (if I'm not mistaken it still lists the final power in the primary set as unlocking at 35. o.O)
-
I remember this. Was for a li'l while when the flight poses were in their initial random incarnation, before they got pulled and eventually redone as emotes.
IIRC the banking got scrapped because it screwed up strafing on the ground and how the camera reacted there. (complex computer programs are weird like that. Pull this string, this apparently unconnected item jumps a few metres.)
So yeah, was around for maybe a few days then scratched. -
Jane straightened on the lump of concrete and mock-saluted Ed's departing back, starting to relax only to be rudely interrupted by a beep in her ear. Sighing, she tapped the playback button and listened carefully to the message.
Rolling her eyes, she stood stiffly and snapped her fingers again, armour flaring back into place. Taking one last look at the scene, she rocketed into the sky and vanished from view, muttering to herself.
"Rolling the boulder up the hill, only to see it roll back down... Sisyphus coulda been a hero." -
Nodding at this, Jane tapped a few buttons on the screen without even looking at it, compressing the footage and sending it as directed. Carefully pressing a few more, she looked down as the computer beeped and regurgitated a small flash memory card, which she quickly palmed.
"No such thing as a normal Kheldian. Could pick almost any two and you'd find more differences than similarities, in my experience. Not that I've always got on terribly well with Sunstorm myself. These days he does his thing, I do mine, and we just stay out of each other's way, and it seems to work."
Raising the hand containing the card, she held it out to him.
"I got some pretty detailed energy readings too, managed to isolate... something in the waveform, but damned if I know exactly what it is. Don't trust unsecured networks with this, but it's on here, if you want it." -
Stretching again and deactivating her armour with a snap of her fingers, Jane waited patiently for Ed to finish his work before approaching him again.
"I'm not in the habit of sending sensitive information to people I don't know, though this does seem pretty serious. Miss Purple there said you could explain who she is, which would help. So, if you wouldn't mind..."
Trailing off expectantly, Jane carefully sat atop a piece of rubble, and awaited a response.
