Assassin's Strike + terror, WAI?
Far as I can see it must be, given the way they chose to implement it. IIRC the fear is a temp-power granted to the target of the AS, which it obviously can't use if it's dead.
Gots to think if they wanted it to work with oneshots they would have done it a different way, though to be fair I can't think how that would be done. o.O
Character references! Artz! Whatnot!
Maybe they could modify it to work as a short location AoE from a 1 hit defeated mob as well as a target AoE...
Damaged mob = Target AoE
1 hit Defeated mob = Short Location AoE (Location of defeated mob, until the mob fades)

Surely if it was being changed then a location based AoE (or pbAoE) is preferred for both cases if for nothing but having 1 method that is applied in all cases should simplify its implementation (i.e. less chance of odd bugs).

I presume the design intent was that if you don't defeat the mob you're going for in one go, you get almost free reign to pound on that one enemy before its mates pile in.
i.e. Always go for the hard target first!

Assassin Strikes made from hide will Demoralize the Stalker's foes leaving them with a reduced chance to hit and has a chance to terrorize them.

Doesn't mention anything about "If your target survives..."
I've been trying out the stalker recently, and I've noticed during my early levels that assassin's strike occasionally caused terror in those around me.
"Great!" I thaught, however as I reached my teens I noticed that the terror effect seemed to of dropped off the face of the earth, only apearing very rarely.
Slightly disapointnig, but never mind. But I have just moments ago experianced somthing that opened my eyes. Fighting freaks, always fun, no real change in tactics here; kill the lt's first, meat doctors are the prefered target.
Came across a group containing 2 champions and a mad freak, Assassin striked one of the champions, no terror (I wasn't expecting there to be), procede to attack the second champion...
...when the first one self rezzed, and the other 2 freaks where effected with terror!
Then it hit me, the terror effect is ancored to the target of the Assassin's Strike. The reason I havent been getting terror often is becuase I almost always 1 hit kill with Assassin's Strike!
Now this seems odd to me (more oddness descovered, yay me!) surely killing the target is more terrorfying than merely wounding it. Hence my question: is this Working As Intended?
