Quite a few of these guides were purged when the old boards were purged, I believe. I know I've tried to access some of them in the recent past and got the "forum not found" message, which is typical of that purge. Many of the guides-to-guides in the various forums link to posts no longer extant.

Anyways, here's V6 of his guide.
By the way, the Bionexus guide was WAY old and out of date and no longer applied for the most part. He left the game a while ago. I did however, integrate most of his "good" tips in my FF Bible.

Guides aren't missing, the links are just all invalid. (Still 52 pages of guides in the default setting.) Even the newest links in the Guide to Guides are awol, heck the Dev Digest links are all dead too. I suspect they're all pointing to the old forum's organization rather than the new forums. We'll probably need to organize an effort to dig up the new links.
Edit: Reading comprehension for the loose. Your right, there is a huge gap in guides now. While the oldest on that section of the forum is from 5/15/04 there is a huge jump to 06. Looks like it wasn't only PMs that were purged past 3 years. This is something I wish they had mentioned (or I had seen) I would have archived everything I could.

Why /duel is a bad idea
Alright all, I've taken it upon myself thus far to maintain the defender guide section, and I promise to keep it up for a while.
What that means is that I have been tasked with finding all of the guides again to update the links due to the new forum software. For the most part, this has been pretty easy, however, I have come across several guides that I cannot find though a couple of searches. If anyone can happen to find and post the correct links to any of the following guides (or, if you are the original post and still have a file with the info, re-post the guide and provide that link here) I would greatly appreciate it. I will submit the updated list some time on Monday, and I'd hate to have as many holes as I currently do.
