    We are aware internally of the badgers concerns over the removal of this badge. However at this time the Developers are choosing to not comment. I'll keep you updated if I hear of any change in that determination.

    Sorry, but the lack of relevant comment from the Devs, or at least defensible comment in light of their actions that are counter the player interests, demands, etc - this is laughable.

    Not that the Dev Team (Nero's fiddler's?) will notice but:

    I can play a toon that's listed as:

    A damaging AT and do damage.
    A controlling AT and "control" foes.
    A defending AT that defends.
    A "Great solo AT" that can actually scrap.
    A Tanker who can Tank something more than a five year old with a rash.
    A Brute who can generate and use Fury in PvP.
    A Dominator who gets some Dominance.
    A Corrupter who can (eventually) corrupt a foe.
    A Stalker who can hit and defeat or run.
    A Mastermind who is dangerous.

    Heck - here's a novel one. Fun? Like... what the players wanted/asked for?

    How bout that?

    I'd like Merits to arrive on my Global as a single reward.

    If narrowed, on a server/blue vs.. redside as needed.

    Beyond that, this system is great for those who play one toon. If you are an alt-a-holic, it makes one throw your arms up and ask why to bother, imho.

    I've been hopeful that someone with less than a "sledgehammer onna eggshell" style might try their hand at PvP / Powers, etc. I'm cautious - I love the ideas, and my main reservation had been on the implementations. To be totally blunt, many of the Devs have taken a far too "high and mighty" approach to clearly broken structures. They've accepted some ..... questionable.... inequities for an inexcusably long time with some ... questionable... defenses.

    I can't assume they didn't get it, and I can't assume they didn't care. Particularly since BaBs brooks nobody even coming close to impugning their stellar perceptive and nearly god-like analytical abilities and infallibility.

    We'll see who puts it in and how they do.

    I'm rooting for it. But I feel like a Chicago Cubs fan - "Just wait till we don't mess it up next Issue!" - and I'm hoping we can break the curse at some point.

    Even so, I'm (usually) loving a game that kicks PvP over and over... ow... oww.... Not in the face!

    Here we go, Chuck. I hope that's not Lucy in disguise.

    How much do PvP'ers have to pay to get *ANY* attention?

    Bottom line - how many of the original PvP community wish list or the "oops we fergot about that" wish list items are remotely addressed in Issue 13?

    I'm betting the over under isn't much higher than a deuce.

    Crossover videos? Villains coming to heroside, or heroes to Villains, or something like that? Possibly Hero1 becoming more of a presence?

    WORSE than before - a downer.

    But with the new command, it's fixed the first time I type in /sync - that's an imprevement.

    Sure, I could whine, but now I don't have to zone, get a teleport from a teammate, or relog, so it's 'minor win' in my book. I'll let my blood pressure rise from more annoying things - say... the buff/icon bug.

    Flag would be an arena-Temp Power that could suppress Stealth, Pools, and not allow friendly TP's... (last one not sure) and possibly it could "Personal Resist Friendly Buffs -1000%" or something?

    Possibly 'norm' them over to something - make all AT's resistant the same, with similar hp and/or Mez - so it won't be a Tanker by default?

  20. Changes that show the Devs - or their proxies - actually listen?

    When numerous players don't just shout cr... stuff... but put numbers to it - and it goes - month after month - of "It's as intended" and we get something like "Ooops - my bad - the decimal actually IS off by one or two places" - after dismissing player feedback time and again... whattaya expect?

    When Devs undercut their own datamining - Blasters and Stalkers are top of the heap so we will consider...

    Defuryance?

    Not allowing Stacked CM's, etc / non-Stalker Buffs?

    LOL - I'm Saddened by the moro... "poor choices" made by the folks who want this game to be better, instead of more "If X then Y ... and all other letters Fuggetaboutit!"
  21. One other - Contribute bounty for partial work in Siren's. As a Controller, or as a Brute, doing all the hard work and having a Blaster/Stalker get 100% of the credit for doing 5% of the work is rewarding Controllers/Brutes... how? If someone wants to tap on the last 5%, give them say... 5% of the credit. That being said, a Slowed, Rad infected, Enervating Field dude is debuffed - but not damaged. Not sure how I'd handle that, but putting some partial credit in there for sure.

    I'm most interested in developments such as:

    *) Make Accolades work in all zones, for all toons, OR no Accolade bonuses in ANY PvP area. All for all or none for none, imho.

    *) Add Arena kiosks in Base locations of PvP zones to reduce zone problems and allows "Let's settle this in the arena now - LISTED!"

    *) Arena:
    ...* Make each team identifiable - to observers at least - by coding them - red, green, blue reticles, etc.
    ...* Observer bots to be MUCH faster with "perfect" +Per - if noobs can't watch or see what's happening, it'll be a maelstrom of confusion.
    ...* Selectable maps. Like, so, so overdue.
    ...* Blasters are a staple in high end PvP - but they're getting buffed? What's up with dat? If some sets are underperforming or not even taken, buff 'em up. Suggestions in original post are good examples.
    ...* Scenarios. OK - Beat 'em all up. Has all the variety of "Oh gee! Another Warehouse? Who'd ever think they'd hide in THERE?" Look at Paintball scenarios - not necessarily the humongous multi-day ones, but the old ones, or similar to some laser tag places, and pull from there.

    I guess this one is too easy but...

    *) PvP Server. All accounts auto level to L50. Start in Pocket D, Trainers and Stores inside there. NO OTHER MAPS. No stores. Allows "straight up" L50 Arena choices.
  24. In the article Positron didn't want these to be only for 'the super rich' heroes.

    How is making this a rare drop going to change that? Sure, if you have a L50 / time in game / you may pull it off. But... what about the casual user?

    I'm guessing the Devs don't buy much at the auction house. A "rare" drop - usable by all AT's, and all levels - is more than a cosmetic affectation. It's gonna be for the super rich and super lucky, imho.

    I wanna hear how Eggshells with Hammers (Rock, Papers, Scissors in a different context) is good at such extremes for PvP? Few marginal matchups, really.

    But - FWIW - I'd rather discuss what other folks WANT instead of simply degenerating into an off topic Nitpick fest.
