I know we getting some really fast respec runs in with the last time under 14 minutes. Wish took a picture now but never mind.
It's been ages since done any organised pvp in arena so I may see if anyone fancies a mini rumble at some point. Can mix the teams up a bit as just want to start testing out the various options (and also have the chance of killing relict).
Also might as well mention we still recruiting so if you are interested in joining an active and friendly supergroup just let me know. -

Stalkers with Spirit Sharks? meh cant say i wouldve put that on the list, as a scrapper err they dont really bother me, 2v1's vs stalkers can be quite fun in zones atleast.

I don't think scrappers are as redundant as what some others have said in zones. However, I would have thought you would struggle with fortunata's and ice tanks as they are pretty much at the top of the pvp list. -
With hasten 3 slotted I believe you need 185% recharge (or there about).

Ahhh good days lol.
Also got an entire 8 man team that way including tanks. They were all huddled together in Sirens so stalkers couldn't get them. Noticed the blaster had set up a nice trap and fired off the temp confuse on my stalker and watched them go up in smoke.

Well chucked in some extra accuracy and it did give me a higher chance to hit so it looks like diminishing returns is applied separately to set bonus's.

I think you have just got rose tinted specs on from old days. Normally a mate or supergroup would shout out if doing a badge mission and would join if needed it but I do remember people used to charge for some badge missions. I suppose with not much to spend your inf on people didn't mind so much especially as often it lead to an accolade.
I would have thought it is mostly redundant with the flashback system but nothing wrong with trying your luck. -

I am a bit uncertain on the DR mechanics regarding accuracy. As far as I know, there are two different types of Accuracy for the purpose of ToHit checks:
1. The power accuracy. This is not enhanceable, but is a fixed feature of the power in question. KO blow for example has 1.2 power accuracy.
2. Player accuracy. This is the sum of the global accuracy (i.e. accuracy from set bonuses and powers like Focused Accuracy) AND the accuracy you have actively slotted into a power.
These two types are multiplied with eachother to yield the total Accuracy of an attack.
Whether DR applies to global accuracy only, or the sum of slotted accuracy and global accuracy, or (PowerAccuracy x (GlobalAccuracy + SlottedAccuracy)) I have no idea.
In case it is global accuracy only, it should be possible to see it directly in the Combat Attribute monitor as the contributions won't add upp to the total. If it is any of the latter two options I suspect you'd have to do some testing while looking at the final net ToHit chance in the combat log, and then do a bit of calculating.

Yeah will be testing soon. Currently against yourself, enhanced global accuracy from set bonuses had no affect so believe it is affected by DR. I will see if adding extra accuracy to the actual power has any affect but I get the feeling that it won't (hope I am wrong though). -

Although there has been a lack of variation to some degree at least PvP has been picking up in RV which is great.
I think there a couple of reasons why there seems to be lack of variation.
A lot of the PvP'ers showing up don't belong to the same supergroup meaning they are less organised/prepared. These teams provided more opportunities for variation due to relying on more support based toons.
Currently teams are mostly made on the fly and with what ever people brought into the zone. I know my thermal on its own won't be able to do much let alone last more than 15 seconds if it is busy. Repeatedly getting destroyed isn't too fun so I would bring something more suitable/survivable on its own. Thus we are seeing more of the same FOTMs showing up as at least they have a chance to do something other than click on rez at hospital.
I can't see the situation changing drastically until further changes to PvP are made. -
Is there a cut off from DI which means you can't gain anything from accuracy?
I have made a new build which gained some extra accuracy set bonus's and its not made any difference in my combat logs (it still has the same chance to hit as last time).
