Hey there, I've just finished playing around on Mids and made this for ya.
Things that have been changed are as follows:
*Roots has been added a slot
*Carrion Creepers have been added 6 slots
*Psychic Shockwave's slotting has been altered a little

I would seriously say that you should consider getting Super Jump instead of SS. You'll regret Super-Speeding when you get to Grandville. I would also say that you drop Spore Burst because it's a silly power. Sure it puts them to sleep but you'll have Seeds of Confusion up pretty quickly. But hey, it's your call.

I mostly took Spore Burst for the set bonus provided from the purple set, as its a cheap +10% recharge...?

Slotting Carrion Creeper doesn't work the way it 'ought', because there's a break in the chain which propagates enchancement bonuses from you to the creepers. So you'll be wasting a lot of the benefit from the enhancements, (although you'll still get the set bonuses).

Wow nice build, is there anything that can do that much damage, AND have perma surge of power?
Not that I am aware of, that really would be game breaking lol.
You can get it so after it has dropped it is back up in 2 mins (can prob have faster but I imagine you sacrifice functionality). To be honest though you shouldn't really need it though!

You're right, but it'd be a good luxury xP. I've never played a Dom before, so i was really just lookin to get some help with a mids build. Surge does seem to kill ya when it wears off xP
I don't think would be much of a problem on a plant/psy though. It has so much control the mobs will normally be held/confused or too busy attacking carrion creepers .

I think you find it very good although there are adjustments you can make to improve it e.g. proc in roots.
I know mines a monster and should be able to keep up with the best of them .

Well as i remember you are one of the more knowledgable experts at this game, so i have good reason to trust a build you made. Hopefully soon enough i'll make my 1st dom and turn it into that build x) I'm gonna try playing around with some more expensive sets in it

Well I have a lot of experience with this particular set and have found it a joy to play. However changes are on the horizon with the devs looking at domination and psi (because of PSW).
So if it is farming you are looking for then you might want to wait and see what happens. To make a fully IO'd dominator will cost you a fortune!

Right, but with the dominator buffs coming, at least it's performance in battle will go up right? I mean i think they're making the damage buff from domi inherent.
Either way, thanks for the build, hopefully one day i'll make it a reality, although i'm really working on getting Archon specc'd out, followed by my currently lvl 5 SS/WP brute.
That's the one i plan to make a ton of inf on xP. Then i'll see about a domi. Also got a multi billion inf Night Widow DPS build on the horizon.

Yes, but it seems pretty likely that PSW will be made less powerful in some way - Castle didn't outright confirm it, but he did answer some questions around it, including agreeing that if it were toned down the rest of the set would need adjusting to compensate, and that he'd probably bet on the entire set being rebalanced like the blaster version. I believe he meant the Blaster Mental Manipulation secondary by that, as it shares a lot of the same powers.
Now, I'm not worried for my Plant/Psy's sake as I play her because she's just ridiculously fun, but if you're making it specifically with the intention of running around using PSW over and over to farm, it might well break things for you. If you're not too bothered and just want a Plant/Psy anyway, then go for it, but otherwise I do agree it'd be worth waiting on the changes before spending a lot of inf to make a farm build that might not be useful for farming afterwards.
Hey all, recently I've started a Plant / Psy, he is currently level 20 and has a great concept, thank goodness.
Anyway, I'm looking for a bit of help with his build...I've played a Mind / Psy to fifty before, so I'm okay with the /Psy side of things - I was more looking for help on the Plant side of the build. Particuarly my slotting of Carrion creepers - it seems underslotted?
