As a suggestion, we can do a few Arc-events, kinda like what we have set up for Gen's birthday. One week we might do Tina's Arc. Maria another. Another week we could do all the badge missions in a row.. We can pick other arcs we like, or even some of our custom AE content. Throw in a few ITF, respec trial, or something like that. It could be fun. It's something different anyway. -
Sounds good Gen. I know I already told you I'd help run the arc with you, but it'll be great fun to get everybody together for a multiple-GM spawn on your birthday!

In my head, I guess I was thinking I wanted to have the teams finalized "by Thursday", and I guess I accidentally listed the wrong day by saying "on Thursday". Ty for pointing it out.

We still need a 2nd-team leader, and a few more members for this. We still have a few more days before the event, and we can probably advertise in Global channels to fill out the teams, but I'd hate to have to turn people down if we can't get enough for a full 2nd-team.
Please leave a message if you are interested in joining. Keep in mind this is a fairly quick and easy TF, and the Mo badge doesn't even exist yet. We're running this as fun practice to see what we can expect from a real run, so you've got nothing to lose.

Nothing much to say about this one. It was a fairly routine Respec Trial on Challenge1 (Heroic). We didn't ghost through anything though, so it took us slightly longer than normal.
While setting up for the Katie TF, we noticed the Croatoa War was starting, so we swung by and took out Jack and Eochai first.
Then.. the *REAL FUN* began.. lol

Ok, let me try to explain those results..
We decided to run this on Challenge level FOUR!.. lol
We started out not so bad. I set down quite a few of my [Trip Mine] for each mob, and left only Mary and a couple survivers each time... but that didn't last for long. We ended up having to defeat Mary at lvl 37 a few times (team wiping each time), and then having to defeat her at lvl 38 as well! (Keep in mind, we're all EX'd down to only lvl 34, had no Tanker, no Emp, and a couple members on the team were still only lvl 31 or so.)
Thank God for [Tactics]! lol. Without that, I'm sure we wouldn't even have been able to complete it. As it was, it took a [Longbow Mech] and [Shivan Shard] to help as well. On a side note, I *cheated* a little by glitching myself beneath the map, so the foes could not hurt me. I stole a bit of agro that Mary couldn't do anything about, and I was able to attack with ease, without being hurt. While everybody else wiped on the last mob, I picked off the minions one by one from under the map. lol
After about 75 deaths, we finally defeated Mary. I took a picture of my Rewards because the Influence we got for killing her was crazy. lol
(How much do we normally get for defeating lvl 54 AVs? I never thought to look.)
Anyway, it took a LONG time, but it was a GREAT time! It was definitely more fun than a generic Herioc run. That's for sure. It took me back to the days when that TF was actually a big challenge. What do you know.. raising the Challenge setting actually works! haha
Thank you everybody for coming and sticking with it through that mess. We needed all the help we could get to make it through that first mission. I'm looking forward to our next crazy adventure.
I'll see a few of you on Wednesday for the Kahn TF, and I hope we get a few more people signed up for the practice MoITF on Friday! I'd hate to have to limit it to only one team and have people lose out on the fun. Then again, as long as we get a 2nd-team leader, we probably wouldn't have a problem advertising for the last few members. See you then! -

Keep in mind ithat it was the fault of a third party provider, not CoH. NCsoft apparently sent them a message to fix it.. but it's out of their hands after that.

I think what you are looking for is the bypass for the updater.
If you don't want to wait for one to fully load first, you can load the instances simultaneously with this shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project coh -
I zoom all the way in to get screenshots of scenery or foes for my calendars. I also zoom in while traveling sometimes.. it prevents the annoying tail of SuperSpeed flashing in my face. lol

No, you can't see the icons, but there is a way to see the actual de/buffs.
The closest thing we have is a temp power series called "Power Analyzer mk" (I, II, and III)
It has 20 uses and allows you to open your target's information in your Combat Attribute window.
mk I works only on foes lvl 1-20
mk II works only on foes lvl 1-35
mk III works on all foes
No, it does not work for PvP targets. -

Then we found out the requirement was being reduced to only 100, and we stopped.
I thought 1000 was reasonable. The new requirement of 100 can be done easily in just a few hours.
But then again, this just means it'll be that much easier to have more than one badge hunter. Because it was so much fun, I'd be willing to do it again. (and I'm not a PvP person) lol -

I'm sorry I don't have time to really pick apart the info, but I can start by saying that since you have a new card now, you should disable that old Intel chip to free up the resources and prevent conflict.
You also do seem to have many things running at once. Do you think you may be running out of memory? 2GB for the game AND all that stuff could slow things down.. especially with a hard drive that is getting close to running out of room as well. I'd be shutting down some of those background processes to free up some resources, and if that drive isn't defragmented and operating well, I'd suggest getting rid of things you don't need to free up some space there as well. -

As for your window issue. I am not sure what you are referring to. The powertray? you can use window scaling to change the size of your user interface as a whole, or each window by itself.
Examples for the power tray:
/windowscale tray 1.00
/windowscale tray 0.80
/windowscale tray 1.20
That's 100%, 80%, and 120% scaling respectively.
For the extra (+) trays, you would refer to them as tray1, tray2, tray3, etc. in the order in which they are opened. -
"/bind_load_file" is only used when you are loading the binds from a file.
For setting a single key using the chat, just use "/bind" -

Grey dots are from people who haven't earned enough rep of their own to have "repping power" against you. I just installed to the newest drivers today and now I see the same thing. It has to just be a reporting error. Like you said, the driver setup file is only 80mb. My add/remove programs is also saying 1322mb. It's quite odd.
It also had an upload/download icon next to it now, so I'm assuming it's maybe just something that can be upgraded depending on what your system uses... but isn't actually taking up that much space. I certainly didn't download 1Gb today.
Then again, further research shows that my c:\NVIDIA directory contains a nice handful of files that include older driver versions... totaling upwards of 700mb. That uninstaller utility might be counting all of them, as well as possibly something else... or it's reporting them in some kind of uncompressed way. I just know it wasn't reporting a size at all before I updated.
I'll look at it more later. -
