FPS in single digits since last patch

Ever since the August 3 patch, my fps on all servers has been around 5-8. I have already logged this twice as a bug and gotten no help at all. Nothing I do seems to help. What is the problem and how can I fix it? I can't continue playing the game like this.

I can hardly read the dark green on the villain skin, but I agree with this.

I would also add I bought a new video card AFTER this problem began, hoping that might fix it, and that since then the login screen has been telling me my video card driver is old and needs to be updated, even though it is the most recent version available.

I'm sorry I don't have time to really pick apart the info, but I can start by saying that since you have a new card now, you should disable that old Intel chip to free up the resources and prevent conflict.

You also do seem to have many things running at once. Do you think you may be running out of memory? 2GB for the game AND all that stuff could slow things down.. especially with a hard drive that is getting close to running out of room as well. I'd be shutting down some of those background processes to free up some resources, and if that drive isn't defragmented and operating well, I'd suggest getting rid of things you don't need to free up some space there as well.

The problem began BEFORE I got the new video card. I got the new card partly to see if that would fix it. It didn't. Also, before I go into CoH, CPU usage is 0% and the PF usage is 274MB. After I am in CoH, CPU usage is 100%, and PF usage is 1.19 GB.

Poke? I'd really like some help with this, since the devs don't seem to care.

After a quick glance over your system specs there I'd have to say that it may be time to get something a bit stronger.

Have you turned your graphics down to minimum and played with slowly turning them up to get optimal graphics to frame rate ratio? I would start there as the lower range computers, such as a P4, aren't capable of handling as much as you're running now.

Also keep in mind that as the devs patch things, they are always adding graphic tweaks and improvements to make the game look better and meet today's growing standards for game graphics.

So I would recommend starting at turning all your graphic settings to minimum and going from there. I know running on my machine, I get no lag at all, then again my machine cost me a whole lot of money >.<

There's a lot of questionable stuff in the registry. If you copy and paste your hijack this log file into this site: http://www.hijackthis.de/ then you'll see it.

This site will help you to understand the hijackthis file: http://pchell.com/support/hijackthistutorial.shtml

Also, the Nvidia files look a bit.... off. Nothing like a normal Nvidia set up.

I'd recommend: Back up your data; make sure you have a Windows install disk; reformat your hard drive; reinstall Windows; update Windows and all your drivers; reinstall programs; reinstall data. A good cleaning like that does wonders for an old machine.

ZombieMan beat me to it. There are several things that raise red flags in your HijakThis file.

While I may not go to the extreme he has suggested, at least not at first, I would at the very least clean up your registry and get rid of those nasty spyware/adware.

Malwarebytes would work wonders for you, and it is totally free.
