Quote:Promotion? Raise? I havent seen one of those it about 4 years now.For 6 years I have wanted it. $8 is a bit steep to get it (I don't care about the other 7 emotes) but I just got a promotion and raise for the first time in 3 years so the timing worked out for them.
Congratulations! -
Seriously, you guys could have work on more important things that have been bugged for weeks or months? I think you’ve wasted your time and resources working on a booster pack that maybe 1% or less of your population would even buy.
How about looking through the Suggestions and Ideas thread, maybe pick up on a few ideas there. Why not work on something we’ve all been asking for years? Instead you give us this………
No thanks....I'll pass. -

It appears that using Malwarebytes fixed it. We had 54 objects affected by some Malware/Adware. Had to run the PC in safe mode, in order to run the scanner.
I appreciate all that have suggested new Anti-Virus software. I'm gonna ditch Symantec for good. As I mentioned before, I'm not feeling comfortable with it's performance anymore.
Below is the output from Malwarebytes log file.

OK, thanks everyone for your input. Here's what I've done so far. I scanned the infected hard drive with Symantec Anti-Virus, Trend-Micro House call, AVG and Spybot S&D, none of them came up with anything. (Seriously!)
However, I did some further research and found this webpage that others were having the exact same problem my spouse was having. We couldn't run any programs because it would always popup the "Windows Security Alert". Towards the middle of the page, I found someone mentioning Malwarebytes
So I downloaded it and put their hard drive back in the system, and ran the Malwarebytes program. Of course the system wouldn't let me run it, saying that is was infected, which I know it wasn't true. So I restarted the PC and started in Safe Mode with Networking. I was then able to install Malwarebytes and update it, now it's running a full scan. So far it's found 43 objects.
I'll let you know what it finds. But the funny thing is running 4 different Virus Scanners, Symantec, Trend-Micro, AVG and Spybot S&D didn't find anything...weird. -
My spouse and I both have Windows 7 and Symantec Anti-Virus v11.0.5 with current virus definitions loaded. We are both really careful at what we do and where we browse to, but somehow my spouse has been infected with a virus that has completely disabled Symantec Anti-Virus on their PC.
As a precautionary measure I have pulled their hard drive out and installed it into my PC, doing a full virus scan has came up with nothing. Im not really 100% confident that Symantec Anti-Virus is really up to par anymore.
So my question is...is there something better than Symantec Anti-Virus that is free? I say free because I acquired Symantec Anti-Virus from my job, and I dont have funds to purchase anything better at this time. I may be able to in about a month, but would like to know if there is any other Virus Scanner or Anti Spyware application that I can use for now? -

OK, I'll put in my candidate. This is my main character Marsha Mallow

That is some awesome news! Finally we wont have to waste 3 power selections anymore just to get Stamina.
Actually, I've never had one or would ever need a respec recipe because I've got so many vet respec on all of my toons that I've never really needed to use more than the free ones that the devs hand out.
I'm sure some people have already used all of their free/vet respecs and would probably need a respec recipe. But if the devs are handing out 2 free respecs, then why would you still need to buy them? -
Id would rather them to just get rid of them completely, because honestly they arent doing any good keeping the Rikti out. Since issue 10 they keep doing down more often than a college coed and their panties. Just get rid of them and make the city feel more open. I really dont mind the invisible blue barriers at all.

Lets say you email yourself a travel power recipe, influence and all the salvage needed to craft it. Where do you go in Praetoria to craft it if you dont have a crafting table temp power?

Due to real life issues here at home, I prefer to solo a lot and team very little. I cant even remember the last time I did a task force .lol But what Im thinking of, is to start building up Merit rewards by using the flashback system. Can anyone recommend on the Hero side, which story arcs can I do that give the best Merit rewards? Also, which story arcs are repeatable to get the same Merits each time I run them, of course after the 24 hour cool down period.

Actually, I think I figured it out. If you have any of the Dim Chat window options turned on, Window Opacity gets all wacked out. I turned mine all off and now my Opacity stays where I set it. Bug maybe?
-
You know, you're right. The window opacity keeps changing on me. I set it to 100%, click apply, close the window, then reopen options again and its at a totally different random number every time.
-
Perfect! That worked! For some reason, mine was set to 1%. Wonder how that got changed. But thanks again.

Is there a way to adjust the background of your contacts dialog boxes to something else that is not 100% transparent? I find it really hard to read sometimes. See this example.
White letters on a transparent dialog box, which just shows you whatever you are currently looking at behind the dialog box. I find myself, having to move the dialog around a bit, maybe look up, look down, left or right just to find some dark background to offset the white letters in the dialog.
Or is there some setting I can change to fix this? -
I don't mean to sound bad, but Dark Armor is inherently an endurance hog. The few people that I know had to spend lots of money for IO sets just to get it to work for them.
Me personally, I don't like having to pause every mob huffing and puffing or popping blues like there candy, so I just avoid it like the Plague. But again, that's just me your millage may very. -
